Nice catches! I like the old fashioned mechanical bell grade crossings in the background at 4:07 and the sounds of the mechanical bells in the background! Really nice!
I was over there yesterday watching 92 arrive and leave. It was such a beautiful day. That's actually me filming at the crossing on its way out of Tampa.
Check out the Distant Signal channel. In fact, the cam is practically in his backyard. He does a lot of railfanning around Florida, though, but knows the Tampa area quite thoroughly and has a few preferred spots.
Question: Why does Amtrak only run double headers elephant style versus the more logistically practical, traditional and possibly better looking back to back?
Patrick Wamsley that's just in case one engine breaks down they can just swap leaders and not have to turn an engine saving lots of time especially if there isn't a place where they could turn one available.
@@Inrun8 Makes sense. I saw a video recently (don't remember from who) and a double headed Amtrak hit a semi trailer and that's what they did. Though I much prefer back to back diesel double heading.
Thank You for the fix, enjoy watching Plant City, FL.
WOW! I was watching this yesterday and didn't realize it had just come on line! Thanks for getting this back up and running. A fav!

Hialeah has a lot of train activity.
For now let's just say "on Virtual Railfan, of course." They deserve it.
did the mount get moved from its previous location on the tower? Seems it is from a slightly vantage point.
Great!
I live 15 minutes away from this place! I am a railfanner
Nice! I'm hoping to make a trip there to see this spot in person next year.
I see that trains driving in this track a lot I live about 1 minuet away

Watch the conductor get blasted at 3:21
👍
There is the SD40-3
Towards the end of the video, the audio was out of sync.
Thank you Jesus
and it's down again
Only like Revelstoke cam
The noise of the diamond distorts the sound too much.
