When I was a kid we used to call dropshots "dinks." Real men didn't dink. When we played the old potbellied guys at the country club we called them "dink and lob guys." Their bread and butter was doubles. They weren't fast and they weren't strong, but they were canny and tricky and they could dink and lob you to DEATH.

Djokovic only sporadically remembering that Ivanisevic taught him how to hit with power and precision and for a few points doing so. the rest, ugh. Rune works like a monster and you have to appreciate that about him, but fuck this sport is becoming one dimensional. Fed must be rolling in his retirement.
