In my fourth season I finally won the supersport TT by a slim 3 seconds, seriously the most satisfying feeling of accomplishment I've ever had in a racing game. My best supersport lap is a 17:38.
i wish i knew more about bikes than i do with f1 cars especially with a game like this theres so much to learn and take in especially to for a lap like the tt sometimes i just dont know where to start even with career mode can be hard to keep track of while doing the races
Great videos. Really helpful. Thanks. Do you have any recommendations for the spots in the road that just seem to pitch you off your bike? One I’m thinking of is entering Windy Corner. About half the time I get thrown off the bike just before I start leaning into it. Another is the straight after Creg-ny-baa. I can’t find any pattern of braking or throttling etc. that will consistently keep me from pitching off the bike - as if there’s a bad spot in the road. Any recommendations? Frustrating.
I created a video specifically for this in the TT 1 game, named Tips to Avoid Crashes, and it picked out various bits of dodgy tarmac and bumpy road sections. But I think they've changed it a bit in TT 2. Agree on the Windy Corner bit, if you stay out left and take the normal racing line. I kind of move in to the centre now to avoid that bumpy bit. Similar 2 corners before Mountain Box. There's a dodgy bit of tarmac on the left that can just throw you off with little warning. Half power is a reliable way of riding over those bits and it doesn't throw you off.
Hah! You're doing better than me, but then I'm old, and fight on with FPV. Pleases me to hear some of the tips are having a positive effect on your times. Congrats.
For an added challenge, try this game on the Nintendo Switch. Especially in handheld. I swear the handling is much worse compared to the PC version. Of course graphics are.
Yes. Looks promising, and a bunch of patches and enhancements needed. They didn't reach out to me for pre-look freebie review/video, so I'm staying in semi-RUclips retirement until they release a VR version, and then I will be compelled to do a proper review and video about it
I mean, wheelies are a nightmare in the TT1 and TT2 games. If they reach out to me for any input on TT3, I will be asking for much easier wheelie control as one of the top enhancement request items. I would like to race in a lower anti-wheelie restrictor setting, but my skill level / technique is such that it's too much to think about when trying to put in fast times.
Just go straight. Do not be turning or leaning while going over the jumps. Different story in anything other than High anti-wheelie control. But for the mega-jump that is Ballaugh Bridge, I do it low revs in 2nd gear to reduce air time / lower risk of wobble on landing, and then hard'ish back on the power again with a short shift up to 3rd so not taking too many high revs / back wheel spin through that town corner.
I find onboard the best simulation experience, but it's probably a bit harder than chase cam since less view of the corners coming up and everything moving faster. More exciting though, so I stick with it, and looks better for the gaming vid viewers
Thank you so much for the tips! Would never have got the platinum without you :)
This game is so underrated !! Love it even I still suck...

Many thanks for taking the time to offer additional info. I will experiment with your suggestions. Great game other than these few quirks!
Thx to some of your tips i did a 15m13s lap on a Honda 1000cc 19 version thx mate. It's on the ps4 so you can find it, player WES-ROBBE.

Congrats man, I got 15min 30sec , my only gripe is the ai don't give a challenge on hard or expert I rack up mins in front after one laps lol
Tips of TT Isle of Man - Ride on the Edge 3😚
To do low 15s you need to split the brakes
Why your tires are leaving black trail and mine not?
Hello DG. 3rd TT just came out

Hello, how can I do a wheelie by using which button or something else using XBOX 360 Controller for Windows in PC?
Thanks!

Watch (Twist of the wrist) it’s on RUclips
also the jumps... what’s the best way to go over them and not be thrown off the bike.

Any tips on bike setup? I’ve just bought level one front forks and have no idea what I should be doing.
I can never find an online game on the ps4, I'm wondering if anyone is still playing this online? Can any one help? Such a shame as it's a great game
Really is underrated
only thing this game needs is a highsight physic where rear tyre tend to slide a bit
Do u find onbord view best? I pefr behind far?
