Socotra - The Galapagos of the Indian Ocean (2022)

While the name Yemen carries the stigma of its ongoing civil war, Socotra is far from the conflict and is a jewel of biodiversity that features hundreds of endemic species of flora and fauna that aren’t found anywhere else on Earth. This makes Socotra a nature lovers paradise and one of my favourite destinations I’ve had the pleasure of visiting 🇾🇪
