Wow! Powerful cover of one of Genesis best songs ever!
Impressive and powerful version of such a good theme. Wonderful group work and great instrumental precision. My congratulations to everyone from Buenos Aires. Genesis is one of my favorite bands since I was a teenager. I started following them since 1972.
This is quite arguably the best Genesis' cover ever made by any band in music history. Outstanding performance.
Thanks you so much!
@@TheMartPlante I just realize the man behind the drums thanked me!!!! This is not an easy song to perform both musically and singing point of view. And you guys took it to another level. So powerful indeed. 10/10. Thank you very much for sharing this amazing performance.
Michel St-Père brought me here. Fantastic cover.
Was thinking at the Last Domino concerts couldn't they get some of the great tribute bands around to contribute tracks like this to be played on the screens beforehand? Would satisfy and commemorate all that had gone before but couldn't be played live on the night.....
Very good cover of this song, not so easy to play. Congrats to all ! 👏👏
This is fantastic!
What you don't have (the drummer, while very good, is not playing exactly what Collins plays) is more than made up for, by the exuberance with which you all play.
This version captures the "bigness" of the song, which is let down on "...and then there were three..." by lacklustre, and compressed, sound. Even the 2007 remix can't help it much. The song itself is very difficult to play. Even Genesis dropped it from the setlist, part way into their 1978 tour.
This is a very good version of my all-time second-favourite Genesis song.
Thanks.
I prefer to listen to their version than Genesis'. The singer isn't as good as Collins but the sound quality more than makes up for it.
I can't stand the sound of ATTWT, the songs are all really harmed by the mushy rendition IMO. That said, Down and Out is the best song on the album, and an all-time Top-20 for me.

Absolutely! I couldn't agree more!
Even Nick Davis' 2007 remix can't save this album from being the worst sounding Genesis record.
The 5.1 mix does allow the songs to expand and breathe a bit more (fun fact: the multitrack tapes for 'Say It's Alright Joe' could not be found, so the song needed to be upmixed using the technology available at the time), but it's not really an improvement.
Shame, as, musically, it's a decent album.
@@richardconnold5207 musically, it sorely lacks the big epic genesis track, generally above or close to ten minutes in length. Burning Rope and the Lady Lies don't really fill the hole IMO, they are pretty average songs close in quality to the long ones in CAS for instance.
That said most songs are indeed pretty well written and would benefit a lot from a good sound quality.
I'm not sure it's the worst sounding Genesis album, but it certainly has got a shot. Other Genesis albums that sound rubbish are FGTR (the songs are also terrible in this one), Invisible Touch (way too outdated and synthetic) and CAS (way too dark and leaden, and not helped at all by Wilson's subpar voice and interpretations).
That was great! Not an easy song to play!
Incredible performance 👏 just perfect - thank you... best thing that's happened during this pandemic.
Une excellente chanson méconnue du répertoire de Genesis. Mention spéciale au batteur!
🤘
Awesome job guys👏
This is awesomeness! Greetings from the Mark from Holland show, Netherlands !
Great cover - félicitations messieurs. Malgré tous les troubles de cette pandémie, ça m'a permis de découvrir Mystery et Huis. Merci pour cette excellente musique!
Génial !! Merci bcp
That was pretty effing great guys . Fantastic job
Wonderful rendition, with a scent of metal in guitar. Splendido. 🇮🇹
I noticed that as well.
J'adore ce morceau, superbe reprise.

Dang!!! Where do I start??
POWERFUL! I enjoyed every second of it! Thank you so much!
On another note, if you present this song to someone, how do you characterize the genre? Simply "progressive rock"? I'm not sure it blends in with other more typical compositions of the genre, it sounds somewhat different

4:57 Hey! Where did the cat go???
Utwor super
Glad to hear this wonderful track with a proper guitarist, Mike Rutherford in my opinion never was a great guitar player, he should have stuck to bass where he did a great job...
At 4:57, the cat has left the building ! 😼
?????????
@@johncolling673 Check 2:23 - there is a cat on the chair. At 4:57 it is gone 🤣🤣
Donde está Huis desapareció?
Fucking great gig
love cats🐱
Poor cat. Looking at Johnny and thinking "Where's the bridge?"
Good cover of a difficult song. Maybe the vocals could be slightly higher in the mix in the first verse?
I'd love to like this again but you only press the button once...
Zalezy co kto lubi a reszta przejazdem
It's honestly better than the original except maybe the voice (the singer is good no worries but Phil Collins is fantastic when he enters his gritty aggressive mode).
While this is a good effort. The drummer is not playing the same licks as Collins.
NO-ONE could play the same licks as Collins - not even Thompson (which is supposed to be why they dropped it from the live set).
Sadly, Collins can't play the same licks anymore.
Really tough song all around, but these guys nailed it! If I remember correctly, Phil overdubbed the roto tom parts on the original track. Chester was a very capable drummer, but Phil was much more fluid in his playing.
drums are not in tbe pocket
Nice - but synth work must be better, always remember Tony Banks is the leader of Genesis.
Weak drums - Genesis is all about the drums! They always go up the front as leading with pianos, agree - good try but you have to work harder, you are in 30% near,
