Nah, in hindu dharm cats are considered as warning you about anything bad going to happen with you, so we just change our path but that doesn't mean cats are badluck or unlucky, they just warn us.

Frankly saying India and Russia have a lot in common! The superstitions like the black cat one, the language like the Indian language and the Russian language have two of the most identical sounds like in Russian ш , щ and in Hindi श , ष , and many other stuff 👍

@@r1a172 Including all the above what I said even Chai in Hindi is pronounced as Chai only in Russian! Also Sugar in Russian is pronounced as Sahar (сахар) and in Hindi Shakkar ! How do I know this ? My aunt is a Native Russian and I am myself learning the Russian Language!

There are two really iconic Horror Comedy movies in Hindi. One is Bhool Bhulaiya (2007), the original of this one, starring Akshay Kumar & Vidya Balan. That was a remake of a classic Malayalam movie Manichitrathazu (1993), but the tone was different. & for the 2nd one, Stree (2018) is another amazing movie starring Rajkumar Rao & Shraddha Kapoor. It was loosely based on a real incident of a village in Karnataka, but with more satirical tone.
You should definitely check these two movies out.
I've watched Stree! It was fun but not really scary tho 😅
@@Zilureactions Yes the satire was the main part. & the it had a lots of cultural references both in terms of serious topics such as patriarchy, misogyny, etc, in rural India, as well as some not-so-serious local topics incorporated into comedy. Also superstitions were a big part. So I don't know how much of those references you got as a non-Indian. & you can expect similar stuff from Bhool Bhulaiya as well. Many cultural references are there that may get lost into translations & subtitles.
Nonetheless, since you were confused regarding the horror comedy genre, this is how it is. Not scary as typical horror, but with a lots of comedic elements.

No we are not afraid of cats. Some people believe black cat crossing path is bad omen. And if a cat comes to your house at diwali night it is considered as good omen. Cats are considered the vahana of goddess Shasti (wife of god kartikeya (god murrugan son of shiva).

i know but the book were written by sage (ved vyas) he was very telented he can write exact future he lives in lord Krishna's time period he also wrote Mahabharata before it happens and he whote an another book name (bhavishya Purana) means future forcast
In that book they wrote many shocking things like rise os Christianity rise of islam rise of Britishers and Russia also they wrote exact future and they wrote some English words in that 5000 years old book at that time no one can emagine about English he wrote exact dates and centuries
