I was camping near Kielder on Wednesday/Thursday and some amazing views down into the star clouds of Sagittarius M24 and M8 where naked eye despite being so low from Northumberland.Funnily enough I get great satisfaction from using some rather weak, weak magnification wise but not in light gathering, Helios 2x40 binoculars which are wonderful for the Milky Way and I'd guess the LMC and SMC not that I'm going to see them anytime soon!I was just south of Stonehaugh which is Bortle 3 but sadly on the Co Durham coast where I live it's Bortle 6.
underrated channel! This was a superb video explaining the basics of stargazing! I'm unfortunately in a bortle 6-7 area but still manage to see nebula with a set of powerful binoculars! Telescope is next on my aspirational purchases!
On the lasers, no matter where you are do not point them towards any aircraft!! It’s really tempting but it’s a quick way to land in jail, especially in the US 😅
Hi my sister I really appreciate your content you have really open my eye is this ASTRO field my you please let me know where I can find that Lazer pointer?
hey, great video. i was thinking about picking up a stargazing telescope. but it kinda hit me like -- whats the point? aren't the average dude just gonna look into a stargazer and go "huh, thats cool" and never pick it up again? dont know if my question makes sense, because it seems very pretty and gives me a reason to go outside :)
You're either the world's best actress or completely in love with what you do. It's great to see.
Just shows you are never to old to learn as a sixty year old man I’ve learnt so much in the last ten minutes. Thank you
it's the same at 61...
a man can never be too old to be amazed by nature's infinite beauties
I've just started an interest in this thing. I'm 26. 😅
