- In this presentation, Mr. Rukun Tarachandani delves into the process of identifying good fund managers. He begins by exploring the debate between active and passive investing, questioning whether it's worth the time and effort to choose a fund manager. He then moves on to discuss the various nuances involved in fund manager selection, covering both qualitative and quantitative criteria, as well as the role of organizational factors in making an informed decision.
Rukun is a great addition to an already fantastic team at ppfas. Stays very calm with his answers during the q&a, fully data oriented but relies on qualitative factors before making a judgement on the dataset.
Fantastic presentation. Presentation style is very close to Rajeev. Well reaearched and equally well presented. session. Well done.
Thanks Rukun. Great show, watched till the end.
Can someone guide me the playlist presenter mentioned in the beginning
Just amazing
The large cap comparison against N50 is very ingenious. SEBI mandates a a largecap fund to invest 80% in actual large cap stocks. There's a 20% margin to invest in mid or small caps which have been raging since the last 5 years. The NN50 is also not included in the comparison. Of course the lop sided comparison makes active funds look better.
