I was looking for a video review about this rollers, and OMG my heart is shaking, you have the same voice of my mom. My mom was a bilingual person, she passed away 6 years ago, and I never thought that I would hear her voice so real like this moment right now. Sorry if I committed a grammar error or something, English it's not my native language.
Awww! No way!! I'm so glad that my voice reminds you of hers!! It's okay! I totally understand what you said. What languages did she speak and where are you from? I am filipino but I wish I could speak tagalog :(
I live in an apartment building and came home last night with an unopened box of these in front of my door with a note that said "NEW! ENJOY' I have no clue as to who left it but I think I am going to like these! BTW...you are stunning...even more so, with your hair pulled back!
I had hot rollers back in the late 60' and I found a set at a yard sale about 6 yrs ago, they have the felt on them, I use them once in awhile, as I have a spiral perm in my hair, it is shoulder length, I love these rollers
You are so cute! And I am so glad I found this video. I bought this exact set of rollers and wanted to know how to apply them correctly. I’m definitely going to try it your way. Ty!
Hello from Canada 🇨🇦 Thank you for making this video!! Amazon just delivered my Remmington hot roller set. My hair is almost exactly the same length as yours, so I'm feeling pretty confident I can do it! Here goes!
Thinking of purchasing these. I notice you can touch both the black and pink parts without getting burned so I'm wondering where the heat is or can the whole roller be touched safely. Tia
Hi! You actually pre-heat them by plugging the entire set to the wall! The curlers come in a heating box which has a plug attached to it and when you need them heated, you just plug them in and wait a couple of minutes to get them hot. After that, you can go ahead and take the curlers out to use them 😀 I do recommend them as a gift! They are SO worth it!
I keep them plugged in and occasionally unplug it because sometimes I feel like it gets way too hot to the point that the plastic starts feeling flimsy. Like it's about to melt lol
The metal part is mostly covered with the velvet sheet and you will notice that there is a very, very little area where the metal is exposed (middle area) on the curlers that I'm using, but not a lot of it. Just try to avoid that area and you'll be okay. Sometimes the plastic part gets too hot which is why I pull off the plug occasionally too. By doing that, it stops the plastic parts from overheating. And if it does get too hit for you, I recommend that you let it sit out for a couple of seconds and you'll be good I only speak of these curlers but there are other curlers that work differently.
Omg yes! It used to happen to me but I noticed that if you clip it closer to top or bottom of the curler, it will stick better. Just make sure you clip some of the hairs that's on your head along with the actual hair on the curler. I hope this makes sense! Lol if it doesn't, let me know!
LoveMarichris It makes sense! I also noticed that the clips you have with your set have little ridges to better hold the hair, which mine doesn’t. I got my set for $5 off of Facebook marketplace, though, so beggars can’t be choosers, haha!
I have a couple of questions because I’m looking into buying this exact set. How hot does it get? Does it not burn your fingers touching them or is it like just a very warm sensation?
@@JazzyE2096 hiya, if your from the UK I got mine from Aldi for £34.99 as everywhere else was £44.99. It gets pretty hot but not to bad, I have frizzy curly hair and it worked a treat. It is hot I’m not going to lie and if you hold them or warm them for too long it will burn but it clicks when they are ready. I used these + my cloud 9 waving wand to create the perfect curls/ curly blow out look. There’s 12 which are big and 8 smaller so you can create looks of different looks. It’s a very cute set and looks nice on my dressing table, I used 12 of the 20 and as I wanted big curly hair rather than tight curls. I hope this helps x❤️
@@nicolemckerrow9622 you are an absolute god send! Thank you so so so much for that! I’m also from the UK so I can grab one from the local Aldi so long as the que isn’t so long from lockdown shoppers 😅 when it clicks do you turn it off and then take them out to place in one by one or do you keep it on? I suppose if you wear heat resistant gloves as well that should help. And when you say burn does it sizzle the hair the way a straightener does when you first straighten it? Once again thank you so so much for the detailed description it’s such a helpful and kind thing for you to do xx
@@JazzyE2096 I just keep them in there as it doesn’t really make any difference as it doesn’t get hotter if that makes sense? Like it’s at a constant temperature. I’m stupid and don’t wear heat protectant on my hair as I think it makes my hair look greasy and it didn’t sizzle or do anything. Straighteners for me steam and smoke comes of it and it doesn’t do this for me!! I left them in for literally 2 mins as I was rushing out the door and they gave me nice curls. A little messy but nice for a 2 mins rush! Definitely going to try them in a little longer next time x
Hi so are you suppose to leave clips on rollers til they heat up. Or take clips off while rollers heat up. Instructions does tell you . Only plug in and roll
@@eleanorguerrero6005 Hi Eleanor!! The rollers heat up in a heating box and once they heat up, you can take them out of the heating box and start curling your hair. Once your entire head is in hair curlers, the curlers will start to cool down and at that point, you can start taking them off 🙂
To each their own. My hair is thick and silky and would slip off the roller had I not rolled it. I've been doing this for a while and it works for me 🤪

How long do you leave them in for? Thank you - great video!!
Ps I have long fine hair
I'd leave them in for 10 to 20 minutes 😀
Do you find that you have enough rollers or do you wish there were a few more?

Stupid question. . .do you leave it plugged in while you are styling or heat them up, unplug and then start?
I have only used mine once, just got them, but I have to leave them plugged in while roll my hair or they cool off.
I keep them plugged in and occasionally unplug it because sometimes I feel like it gets way too hot to the point that the plastic starts feeling flimsy. Like it's about to melt lol
Beautiful make up! What lipstick do you use here?
Thank you so much!! Lipstick is Milani Matte tender.
I hd those - bought 3 kinds. None of them were hot or stayed hot enough to create waves.

How long did putting in the rollers take you?
Took me 10 mins to put them on. At most, it can take me up to 15 minutes.

How do you get the hair not to look frizzy when you take them out. Do you put anything in your Hair before you curl.
I didn't put anything. My hair is naturally silky and wavy.. my hair air dried prior to curling it. I think brushing it also helped.
That volume D;
