Very good!
+cuckoomusic thanks! Learned from the master (you...)
loopop haha ❤️ I was just checking around a bit to see if Elektron had introduced an on-off internal Multimap Switch on the A4, like on the Keys. Sadly no, it seems. But I noticed that you can actually play and record multimap on the internal keyboard while in the Multimap edit mode. It’s something!
Finally a proper knowledge to get out the most of it. Would be trippy to see Monomachine acting in the same way you are controlling Analog four.
thank you! never used that feature, but it looks pretty fun
Always like your vids mate - they are super helpful. We have similar gear - so I'm wiser because of you!
Awesome!
Dude if you have similar gear to loopop, you’re loopop.
great demo. you really know your stuff
Great great great video. Thank you so much for publishing this! Really helpful.
Magnax Vingt-Trois you're welcome and thanks!
super useful tutorial thankyou
Do the Multi Map settings apply to the keyboard buttons too? It’d be cool if it’s possible to set a sound per note and play the Analog Four’s mini keyboard like a drum machine.
Another helpful video. Learning so much from these. Is there a way to combine 2 analog fours to expand polyphony?
daikuone thanks... in terms of sequencing from an A4 not that I know of (especially since it doesn’t output MIDI) , but if you’re using an external keyboard or sequencer then sure
that is a very beautiful sound on the DN at the very end. After watching many of your videos (for which I thank you) I sometimes which you would create some soundpacks :)
Thanks! Album coming soon....
Ditto to Ranzee, Im looking at analog 4 too, getting cheap now with mk 2 coming out
Very informative! Thank you!
I suppose that I can (A4 MK2) do CV pattern changes to control outer gear. Also... I have QuNexus but I don't have any other mini-keys. How the feel between KeyStep and QuNexus differs? I mean, is it cruicial to buy KeyStep additionaly (to QuNexus) to work with A4 (drums and pads/leads) + an outer synth or it's just enough to have one 2-octave MIDI controller?
Very helpful video. Thank you!
If you were you have the sequencer of the analog four trigger your volca on the FX or CV track, could you still input data whilst on the “performance track”? I’m running into an issue where my OP1(in place of your volca) feeds back off of its self when I record off of the “auto” channel, but can input data that way. However, when I’m on the “performance” channel, my key step only inputs data on the internal channels and not the CV/FX tracks... a million thanks to your amazing videos!!’
Hey loopop or whoever can answer this. Is there a way to work on the next pattern while the last pattern is still playing?
Hey loopop! Great video as always! I have a question, i currently own a wavestate, and i´m thinking about getting a A4 MK2. I wanted to know if i can sequence the 4 layers on the wavestate separately with the A4, and at the same time use the 4 voices/sequencers internally on the A4? Thks!cheers form Argentina!
Does the Analog Four support polychain? How do you set that up for additional voices between the keys and Four
Can you also send tracks through usb back to the A4?
I know you can with A4mk2 via Overbridge anyway
hi and thanks for the video,
is there any way to separately play a track with a midi keyboard? i am not looking to split the keyboard instead i want to use the full keyboard for any of the selected 4 tracks and switch between them. all i can hear when using my midi controller is track 1. thanks !
Tune to channel 9 on your midi keyboard
Loved the video, but that bass sound at 0.56 even more.
Care to share how you created it?
I'm thinking two lfo's. Retriggering lfo1 delaying the start and speed of lfo 2. Lfo2 free running sine wave for controlling the speed of cutoff frequency.
Or what is your trick? Can not seem to get a similar result..
Thanks! Sorry, that was too long ago. I tend to tweak stuff a lot so I won't be able to recreate the exact settings of all the parameters.
hi! Can you use multi map to use part of the keyboard for external control, while maintaining internal control on another part of the keyboard?
Thelma Band if I remember correctly yes!
thank you - this is really my determining factor of buying it but somehow the manual doesn't seem to say it can do this and I can't seem to get an answer in any forum. If you still have it and could check I would greatly appreciate it!!!
Natasha Jacobs just saw the end of the clip... if I understand what you need correctly, I do it right there. Top split is Volca FM, bottom split play the A4
very much
Is it easy to create sequences with a midi keyboard inputting the notes?
Press REC+STOP, place notes one at a time :) (A4mk2)
That's a lot of info 😅
