The pastor advised integrating faith into the show, leading to a gradual transformation in how they communicated their beliefs. Despite pushback from some denominations and individuals, Rick emphasizes the importance of remaining steadfast in their faith-driven approach. He also reflects on the impact of the show, sharing stories of lives changed and connections made, even from unexpected places like Australia. Despite challenges, they remain committed to their mission of sharing their faith through entertainment.

I have retired 3 times, still working 3 days a week. I agree, we all need a purpose!

Our country needs more spiritual well being than politics anyway. Politics is so repetitive and seemingly uni party so focusing on laughter, love , and happy works

They were funny when they were in Anniston. Now they're sanctimonious. He is one of the worst at mixing God and politics. I turned them off in 2004. I doubt he understands when you appeal to one you discourage another.

They announced the Rick & Bubba show was ending. Why shouldn't Rick follow the Lord's leading at this time of his life. I hope his new broadcast will continue in a spiritual endeavor, a podcast or like. I can't wait!
