- Keke Palmer and Law Roach get into it after House of Makaveli's fifth redemption battle.
Legendary is a voguing reality competition show that premiered on the subscription-based streaming service HBO Max on May 27, 2020. Legendary showcases the competition between eight houses from the world of ballroom. Each house consists of five members, with each house battling for a chance to win $US100,000 and Legendary status. In July 2020, HBO Max renewed the series for a second season. In June 2021, HBO Max renewed the series for a third season.
DaShaun Wesley plays the role of the Master of Ceremonies, abbreviated MC or emcee, and more specifically the host of Legendary. The main panel of judges includes Jameela Jamil, Law Roach, Leiomy Maldonado, and Keke Palmer. Megan Thee Stallion was previously a main panel judge on the first and second seasons of Legendary.

This season’s made me respect the roach a lot more. First he votes for Makaveli to stay seconds after trying to fight one of them because he genuinely felt they did better in the redemption battle, and now he gives props to Keke for eating him up, because he can recognize that she DID eat him up

She’s so right! I hate when people make reality competition about their life story. Like I’m sorry I don’t have a cancer ridden mother or that I was bullied in school. This is about talent and our stories should be highlighted BUT should be judged on talent and talent only.
That's why I stopped watching American Idol. Too much back story I want to be entertained.
Yeah there was a contestant that was on the Voice…she got pretty far but I knew she had an background that the producers would have ate up but she never mentioned it. She talked about her past in the music industry and why she left but when she was on the Voice she had a “sob story” currently going but she didn’t bank on that. I think that’s one of the reasons she didn’t get as far as she could’ve. I respect that she went in on her own merit and didn’t want to use her situation as leverage because it was a vocal talent show.
If this was a competition on who had the best back story they would have won. But, it's not so they didnt.
So if they are talented in the bottom, they should stay?
