@@pop4783 something tells me a lot of privateers are going to get fill ins and be able to show there talent more and get more fans since there riding a half a million dollar bike instead of 15k bike
I think this is the first time in a while where the 250s is more intriguing. Most of the 450 field is gone, 250 has Cooper, vialle, shimoda, Deegan, hunter, and I'm sure there are a few I'm forgetting.
Vohland kinda reminds me of Vuillemin, riding elbows down, lot of body movements and seats early in the corners. He looks fast. Hope he keeps it on two wheels.
@@tristenbailey3742 I bet outdoors won't be so bad on his arm. He won the title in 19' and took Osborne down to the final moto of his 450 outdoor rookie year. If he stays upright I bet he can win some.
@@joao55mx32 Justin won the mx2 class at des nations last year and has been a title threat the last 2 years, saying that Vialle is much better is simply not true.
I also think Americans look awesome on groomed tracks but it’s a lot different when the are rutted and brutal at the end of the 2nd race! They should be practicing at the end of the day when the track is nasty! Vialle and Hunter have ridden nightmare Belgium tracks so they have an advantage!!
Who's we there boy , the fact that privateers choose them shows how good they are in pro competition, how much do really know about mx bikes , you seem a little naive.
Vialle’s lower body always looks so stable. Also it never looks like he’s bearing too much weight on his pegs, he must squeeze his bike very hard with his knees and quads. Him and Hunter actually look very similar on the bike to me, with some minor variants. Vohland always looks fast and comfortable on the bike. But never can produce the laptimes i think he would. It always sounds like he’s in a gear too low and just isn’t good at carrying a high speed through corners. I know he has a big bmx backround, which contributes to his bike control looking so effortless most of the time. But it seems like he lack finesse in terms of his braking and throttle applications.
Tom Vialle is fast and if he gets used to the format and tracks quickly he will be in the hunt for the championship. Hunter will be a contender also. Not sure about the American's.
You have JCoop who's always a contender, a healthy JMart who is also always a contender, Hampshire who's very fast, and also a lot of fast up and comers like Kitchen, DiFrancesco, Deegan they say has been going pretty fast on the outdoor track too, so you never know. Shimoda is not American, but he should be a major title threat as well.
Man I will be genuinely upset if Tomac retires. As an Aussie I was so fucking excited to see him show Jett the ropes. Would've been so cool. There is still some legends for him to learn from anyway.
If Vialle isn't winning races and battling for the championship, what does that say about the last couple years of MX2 guys compared to the AMA 250 guys?
That it’s a completely different ball game in different country’s . Here in the states we have tracks that are made more for speed. I believe over seas it is definitely more technical.
@@bwagss5579, I understand, but guys like Reed, Roczen, and Musquin obviously did well in both. Do we just ignore that? I think Searle, Rattray, and Anstie got similar results in both as well. I don't think they're as night and day different as people try to claim. They are different, but I think they aren't as different as SX is to MX. I also don't think the talent is much different either. I think it comes down to eras and who the specific riders are at the time that determines the difference between AMA and MXGP.
@@jkell411 the only thing I will say is the overseas motocross is tougher. Vilapotto struggled overseas after he retired here. Ferandis has dominated as well over here and even though I’m a reed fan he won motocross when Stewart was hurt . He never beat stew or Ricky for a outdoor title.
@@bwagss5579, Villopoto won a race... And Ferrandis was battling for wins all the time over there. Reed was better in SX than MX. Either way, it's not comparing apples to oranges. I'm just trying to say they are closer than people say. The difference is very exaggerated.
Our tracks these days are wide open highways I wish we could slow them down a bit, and make them more technical. And I've personally thought for years that our amateur outdoor tracks don't need to be a mile long, I think smaller tracks maybe half as long would make for better racing, better for viewing, more fun to ride etc. a bunch of slow amateur guys circling a mile long track is not exactly fun to watch. Is it any wonder the sports not growing at the amateur level.
Vialle has a chance at winning motos but I don't think he's a title contender. Shimoda is a stronger threat over vialle. Also Justin Cooper you left out, he's definitely a contender.
Mosiman needs some good starts and some confidence and he will do well. I only say confidence because of his misfortune in earlier seasons. The foreigners will be good outdoors. Hope for the 450 class to have as much potential battling. Jett on the 450 will be 🤌🏻 💯.
