Adillete existed before yeezy slides , the colors and the manufacturing method maybe be inspired in yeezy slides but i don’t think its a Fake yeezy , they have their own thing going on .

@@tonyungfatlooks nothing like it,priced nothing like it and feels nothing like it. The adillette 22 is a firm slide not a plush recovery type slide so the only thing they have in common is it’s made by addidas.
I don’t care that adidas did this, Nike does this all the time after having success with their colabs.

the nike slides I have are really comfortable. the old models of adidas slides with the 3 stripes on them that I tried at a mall don't have much padding on the top of your foot. crocs are too loose for me, but they are comfy.

Yeah its been seen all kinds of ways really. Brands collab with high fashion brands and then the brand release the same model without the high fashion name (converse with JW Anderson and A cold wall) and we’ve seen the high fashion brand start doing shoes after learning from the brand.

Yeah adidas had these releasing yesterday at 11pm with discount available but last minute they changed the release to today at 9am in the uk with discount codes turned off so made it less accessible to normal people and looks like it’s been targeted more to hype beasts, was at work so wasn’t able to get any on this drop so pretty bummed about that

But Yeezy design is what made this silhouette popular. Looks at all the copies that have been pushed out since the Yeezy Slide hit the market. I'm not calling out Adidas here, but there are many other companies blatantly copying his design. PacSun, UO, Rue 21 etc blatantly took the sketch straight from Ye.
It's not really valid to say Yes copied some footwear made centuries ago that no way gave a crap about before. Though I am not familiar with any previous footwear that looked exactly like Yeezys.Ye and Steven Smiths' designs are original asf which is why everyone loves and buys them.

You do realize this is a marketing tactic from adidas? Kanye doesn’t chose to make Yeezy exclusive, that’s adidas decision. It’s pretty smart. They make Yeezys exclusive so that they can push customers towards cheaper knockoffs of Kanye’s work. So basically they get to make way more money without using Kanye as a middleman. I don't even think that those two are identical. Probably with the colorway, but in terms of the silhouette and the overall design, it's very different.

The Adilette shape looks more like a regular slide than a Yeezy. It just looks strange so Kanye thinks it’s biting him when it isn’t
The Adilette slides look very comfortable. I can’t my foot in Yeezy slides since I got wide feet.
I own both and love the adillete slide 22. They fit true to size and are easier to wear with socks. I personally feel that outside of being a solid piece of foam, they aren't all that much alike.

@@rojo9063 Hard to say one is better than the other. They fit so differently on foot, and the profile for each is quite a bit different. The yeezy slide has a much fatter profile, and the adilette is much slimmer and have deeper heel that make more of a clean fit around your overall foot. The yeezy foam is definitely less dense and are a bit more comfortable. But, I really like them both. Can't go wrong with either... Honestly, I think Ye just got pissed that Adidas had a hit on their hands. He didn't say shit about the Ayoon slides because they are women only and they are sitting. Those look much closer in design to the yeezy slides.

I dont think this Adilette slides are the same at all. I think the top strap fits wider and the comfort is not the same, they remind me of the Adilette Comfort slides in actual comfort. Yeezy slides are way more soft.

Here's the thing about progressing in every facet of life. If something great is made that is better than anything else, as long as it isn't a straight rip off, taking what makes that great and improving on it is better for everyone. Cars, phones, shoes, clothes, houses, etc. With shoes, if people didn't take and built on it, we would likely barely be past converse comfort right now but instead we are at React and Boost comfort.

Adillette debuted in 1972.
adidas Duramo is a one-piece foam slide that debuted decades ago. Anyone crediting YZY with that clearly doesn’t know sneaker history.
Another older adidas one-piece foam slides was the EQT KB slides that YZY brand clearly mined from the archives.
Bulky slides were done first with the BOOST slide and Humanrace Chancleta slides.
The topography inspiration has never been done at YZY or elsewhere. It’s important to note adidas has been working with ISS and NASA for decades.
The YZY pods are a direct rip from Japanese tradition. Didn’t sock shoes happen many times over? The name and online marketing is clearly biting Apple (no pun intended), and the slides that are bouncing around take the Apple biting to another level.
The entitlement at YZY stems from adidas, hypebeasts, sheeple, and YZY Stans enabling his crazy exaggerations and/or straight up lies.
His gross lack of originality since the adidas split tells us all we need to know. Where’s all the product? Where are the $20 shoes and clothes?

He is talking about the Idea of it not the look itself really. Kanye has some unreleased slides with those same color patterns on it. The Ochre slide was the first example with two different shades of brown. Even the look is similar but still different only because adidas slides are 3D printed.
The idea itself is not that unique. Nothing is unique. Take a look at Jerry Lorenzo's croc and Alyx's croc. They eat the same cake. While Kanye being a petty ungrateful cunt
adidas has been doing weird paints and dyes for a long time though - pre-YZY.
One-piece goes back to the Duramo slide and the EQT KB slide. That’s also pre-YZY.
Alien looking silhouettes have been done at adidas since the ‘80s and ‘90s. Jacques Chassaing and Nic Galway worked on a lot of that older stuff.
Bulky slides were done with BOOST slides and the Humanrace Chancleta.
adidas has been working with ISS and NASA for decades. The partnerships produced several archived samples and releases.
So what idea isn’t originally adidas? The outsole pattern? adidas didn’t use that, and they gifted YZY the patent. He could sue if he was in the right. It’s been a minute. End of.

I think the silhouette are pretty different and the textures too. As a matter of fact slides exist for quite a long time now, they invented the slides way before YE even had the concept of how slides look like!

Theyre both completely made out of foam but thats litterally where the similarity ends, Textures different, shapes different, look is different. He didn't invent the slide ffs. What is wrong with _sneakerheads_ being unable to use the JP/CM sizing chart? Centimeters are a real life number that doesn't change from brand to brand or region to region. Measure the insoles of some shoes you like and buy that size. No need to hem and haw about size up/size down/TTS.
