Sheraz cheemap Sheraz cheema Hello! I am Brazilian. Sorry I will translate: your video was excellent! Thank you for sharing! It helped me a lot when I was in Athens!
Arriving in Athens on a Sunday morning from the US. Know I’ll be somewhat brain dead from long flights and no sleep. This was very helpful. I will need to get Euros when I arrive. Are the ATM machines inside the main airport terminal? Are there any in the bldg. where I will catch the metro? I know to be very aware of my surroundings and cautious of pickpockets…do you think they’ll be active on a Sunday morning?
Thank you for posting this, very helpful. Do we no longer have to validate the ticket after we buy it? I wasn't quite clear about what happened at that point.

aleksandrosgrigo I just said: “The bus ticket is 6€ not 10”. I didn’t refer to the metro ticket. And I said that because in the description writes that both the bus and metro tickets cost 10€ which is not true.
Oh ok. The bus needs at least 20 to 30 more minutes to reach the center depending on the traffic. It stops at Syntagma so if your accommodation is near omonia or metaxourghio where many hotels and Airbnb s are located you'll still have to get on the metro, so it doesn't worth it for everyone to take the bus.
aleksandrosgrigo Oh… I made a mistake. If take the bus to go to Syntagma and then take the metro, it’s still cheaper, since the bus ticket is 6€ and the metro single ticket is 1.4€, so someone will pay 7.4€ instead of 10€.
Also another proof of konstantinoupole being mostly Greek is that the church Agia Sofia is Orthodox and Greeks are Orthodox even though Romans were and are Katholics didn't want to tire you or confuse you just wanted to try to clear up things a little
I don't mind that much that Constantinople is not Greek anymore the only thing I want is for Turkish government respect Agia Sofia and monuments and not destroy our history and christian monuments just want easy access and peace 🕊️ also I would love if it was possible for the church to work as christian no hate though 😊
Thank for your video, great help.
Thank you so much, you are very helpful

Very nice video. Are there lifts at the airport and Sytagma square Station?
I don't live in Athens but from what I remember most if not all stations have lifts ask someone else though for confirmation

It's a contactless reader, not a scanner. ;-)
Anyway, great video!

Diana Gumas You have to, by tapping it at the reader. How will the gate open otherwise? It’s just not shown on camera.

The bus ticket costs 6€, not 10.
Dimitris Sartzetakis it is 10 though

aleksandrosgrigo Yeah, of course. Unless you’re going to Piraeus, for example, which going by the X96 bus is 4€ cheaper than going using the metro.

No. Constantinople was never greek. It was Roman then ottoman then Turkish.
