Can u do a video on ur desired pathway about what you did in a levels and what you would like to do next in order to become an investment banker etc , I’ve never seen a video like this on RUclips and I think it would be very entertaining 🤓🖤🖤🖤
Hi this was a very helpful video. I’m in year 12 and at my school we have to do 4 as levels so I declined doing an EPQ due to the high work load. However, in year 13 I will get an opportunity to do the EPQ too and I will only be doing 3 a levels would you recommend doing it? I am looking to do broadcast journalism so an essay would look good but would it be too late to add to my personal statement? Xx
Hi! I would say taking it in year 13 is a great idea, especially if you're planning to take 3 subjects then, too. It would greatly help your personal statement, and it won't be too late to write about it in there. My friend did his in year 13 and he applied according to the Oxbridge (Oct 15) deadline and had a good section about his EPQ on his PS. Don't worry, as long as you make sure you know the topic you want to research and start researching about it before you write your PS so you have stuff to talk about, you'll be fine to take it in year 13 :)
I want to do biology chemistry psychology and Spanish a level but for some Biochemistry/chemistry courses you require maths could I do an EPQ related to the maths involved in the degrees instead of doing a Level maths?
Not necessarily - you can do it on literally any topic of your choice, but if you maximise your gains from the EPQ, you should ideally do it on the course you want to apply for at uni :)

I don’t think an EPQ will have enough maths that you may require for your degree, but it’s best to check with the unis you’re applying to as well! :)
