One day my friend and I ended up giving Jonny a ride (long, INTERESTING story) but at one point we went to a studio just for a tad bit. Every time throughout the night whether he was singing an actual song or a song we joked about making (properly titled 'Musty Dick') he sounded Absolutely astonishing, and keep in mind I'm a DGD fan so I can justify the comparisons. Obviously it's been some time since It was a little while after his alleged drug use ended, but dude.. You wanna talk about someone sounding the same on and off the record... He's the man. He popped a pimple on my face. Interesting night.

Jason Buckland The echo effect is commonly known as reverb, and it wasn't like this due to the video, it was crappy show production. NO video cause a 3 second audio lag. I'm not saying Jonny is a bad vocalist, but whoever was behind the stage doing sound mixing did an awful job.

+Sam Henry probably wouldn't see a penny, percentage of merch goes to venue, then tour costs, gas, food, mngmt, bands don't make money on the road, tour is for promoting, anyway they probably got money for food that night
+Sam Henry I was at this show and I think the tickets were under $30 and they and another band opened for Chiodos, so I can't imagine that there is really that much to go to each band after everything is paid out. But it's a two story venue standing room only and the place was packed. You pretty much rubbed elbows with your neighbor through the whole show.

Jonny is a monster, absolutly amazing, the best live set I've seen of them.
He has that rasp down AF. Guitars don't sound to pretty tone wise. But vocals make it up. Straight up amazing.

The amount of unnecessary and overly delayed reverb on Jonny's vocals is disorientating, they could have done better with production in this show.
