Yes, you are! Salvation is not based on works, it's based on faith, read Ephesians 2:1-10
I find this passage very fascinating.
My question is though:
Do all Christians have to become missionaries or did Jesus words apply primarily in a special sense to his audience when he said those words?
So let me ask you this question? We're you saved to sit on your hands? Ephesians 2:10
My Question ; To the message of Pastor Charles in Mathew 28:19. baptism for descipleship . Is it water baptism or baptism of with the Promise of the Father and the Holy Spirit ?
In Acts 1:5 Jesus said , " For John truly baptize with water ( this time the Apostles were all baptzed with water ) but He said , you will be baptize with the Promise of the Father and the Holy Spirit not many days from now.
Jesus was saying in that verse baptism was a requirement for those who accept the yoke of discipleship. Anyone who wished to serve God acceptably would have to accept and acknowledge Jesus’ role in the outworking of God’s purposes. After doing so, that person could get baptized. Only water baptism has God’s approval.

"Marching orders" sounds like serving as a soldier at your own expense. 1 Cor. 9:7 says this is not acceptable.
Were going to be judged on Paul's mystery Gospel that Jesus gave him The Grace Commission 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. Trust on what Jesus did.
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
