Higher than it would be if it was caught in gen 5 or later even ignoring the RNG abuse. Due to differences in PID generation a Dunsparce from gen 3 or 4 has a 50% chance to become a three segment if it was Hardy nature and has the ability Serene Grace and a 0% chance otherwise.

Your video was a great motivator for me to finally give it a go (as was the reminder that pokemon bank may not be usable in the near future). I managed to walk away with 26 of the shiny shadow pokemon. I got my primary targets Suicune, Entei, Raikou, and Metagross along with some cool stuff like 0 speed shiny ursaring (had to go close 5 million frames deep but I won the 50/50 first try). The whole thing took me about 3 months. Learning those programs was a nightmare but i'm glad it's over.

I'm not sure the「ャ」after it is a valid spelling of anything, but if it were, it would be pronounced something like, "tsa," so your character's name in Romaji is Tsadoo instead of Shadoo. The character you wanted was「シ」, or "shi," which you can see to the top left of the character you typed on the digital keypad, there.

I wonder... with the somewhat recent developments in ereader stuff in animal crossing, would it be possible to create custom codes for shadow pokemon, the same way we now have a method to print arbitrary dot codes for animal crossing items? What an interesting project that would be. Depending on how exactly the ereader information is handled (if it's anything like the ereader berries) it might be possible to create arbitrary shadow pokemon... Within the bounds of what assets are in colosseum.
That’s definitely a cool concept! It may be possible to add custom trainers/ teams, but unfortunately, the shadow Pokemon aren’t scanned in by the cards - they’re simply unlocked by beating the string of trainers. Since the shadows are already in the game, I don’t see a mechanism for the E-reader to affect them

12:34 It's not random, it's based on which one you caught in Phenac. You caught Bayleef in Phenac, so Croconaw is always in the Snagem Hideout and Quilava is always in the Shadow Lab.
That’s a common misconception, but not true. I chose Bayleaf in both runs and the other two were in opposite places. The other starter locations are CHOSEN when you pick your Phenac starter, but it is indeed variable
