Garrett was wanting to see what his putting looked like so here it is all added up plus a bunch of extra stats on different things, this was a fun little thing for me to do and I enjoyed watching this series of rounds.

Definitely do this style of tournament again. We are adopting this format at our next golf trip. You guys played great golf and as a constant, hats off to Colin, Louis, and everyone else behind the scenes. Keep it up GG!

I can count at least 20-25 "I dont give a fuck" shots/putts from Luke these four rounds of golf. Watch Taco Golf's latest Korea cup video and then compare that to Luke on GG lately. Night and day in terms of how much fun he has.
He tends to “act” like he doesn’t care but he’s definitely trying.
Really wanted him to show his dominance in this. I don’t know what is going on behind the scenes, but is very frustrating to watch. This is good good, not Garrett Clark. He has his own channel.

Agreed. The constant sarcasm isn’t funny anymore it’s just tired and boring. He barely has a serious word to say any more. It’s a shame how much events like this mean to Matt and others yet you can tell Kwon doesn’t care what so ever.

If Kwon had tried as hard as he would've on tour, he'd have smoked everyone. Not sure what is in the cards for him or what is going on, nor do I claim to have some kind of spectacular insight, BUT what I will say is this; I wanted to see Kwon grind and focus. To show that no matter where he started, he could come out on top. If it was straight up, no handicaps, it would be a blowout, but with the handicaps, Kwon had no business holding back. I'm sure it didn't feel as good of a win for Garrett, not just because of the 10 strokes he was given, but also knowing that Kwon sabotaged himself and was still in it all the way until the last hole. It never feels good to beat someone playing their worst or intentionally worse. As a competitor you want to beat people who are playing well and are trying. That feels like a true victory. Like you rose to the occasion, like you beat them, and they didn't throw the match. I enjoyed the series but this last 18 was rough. Matt and Garrett kept me interested, and I know Brad had better in him for sure.
Luke should be with Garrett in cart cams, that way we can hear what he has to say.

I really wish kwon would act like he gives a crap in the good good videos. Lately he just acts like he doesn't care or doesn't want to be there. I watch his personal channel as well and he is a completely different person and golfer. Keep up the great content boys!
They all look and sound burnt out lately.
He kind of acts like he doesn't care, but you can see him doing his Aimpoint stuff on the greens, as though he really wants to make the putts.
Predictably, though, he comes up either short, low, or both when push comes to shove. I can only remember maybe one video since he joined Good Good that he actually made the clutch putt on the final hole, and his miss is ALWAYS short/low.
Yea Kwon if you are going to play, stop screwing around. Take it seriously. We all know those people who ruin rounds because they just aren’t into it and joke around like its not an important round
For sure. At least Grant still put his best foot forward and was pleasant to be around even when he had no desire to be there. That’s why it was somewhat of a surprise when he left.
There is no incentive to win any of these, there isn't any trash talking, there aren't any rivalries and there isn't any humor or fun. Why would anyone outside of the original core group for bragging rights care who wins? With Taco as an example that was a total goof and really funny from the silly trophy to the Korean only holes. With Sean there are money matches and running totals among peers. This just doesn't have the impact but it's still fun as viewers to watch for sure!

Aside from Aj being on the struggle bus throughout the tourney and Steve falling off towards the end. You guys absolutely nailed the handicaps. This vid actually came down really close considering one guy could’ve just had a 15 stroke lead after 4 rounds 😂

@@marvinburkholder8907 I don't think he meant Kwan was throwing the game. Honestly, I didn't see it much this video, but Kwan rarely takes Good Good matches too seriously-even in the last video (or maybe the one before that) he'd be like "alright this is gonna be really stupid" and try to do something ridiculous that he wouldn't do if he were playing a true competition. (You could also point to him trying to do backwards-between-the-legs putts whenever he was within 2 feet, sometimes missing and having people say "that was good" only after the fact.) Kwan goofs off-that is him being authentic. Just look at the putt-putt videos, where he approaches every shot with a "I'm going to do something wild" mindset. And that's fine-these events aren't actually the equivalent of PGA Tour (or Korn Ferry Tour) rounds, and it'd be weird to expect him to bring that mindset/approach.
Anyone else find the vibes between Luke and the group off? The only person communicating with him was Colin.

Couple thoughts from a long time fan: 1. Luke clearly either isn’t enjoying playing lately or has ceased care about competing in GG videos. Hes lackluster in effort in front of the camera and does not seem very driven to try his hardest at all which takes a lot away from the quality of recent videos. 2. Steve appears either injured or completely checked out from playing. He still is a good camera presence but he pulls off of every swing and looks like he’s getting forced to be at every tee box + lays down or limps in every shot. 3. I think coming out of the AZ live event right now is an unprecedented time for GG in that their pull and viewership is probably at an all time high. For the first time in years I’m starting to see some cracks form in the group (mainly centered around the stuff mentioned above) and I think some changes need to be made and fast. Just my two sense.
I'll be amazed if Kwon doesn't leave GG in the next 6 months

Seems like a lot of the comments are about Luke. I had the same feeling watching as most that he seems checked out. Really think he will be on his own and teaming with the more competitive golf guys like Bryan Bros, Micah, Grant, and so on. Saw awhile back where somebody said he plays completely different on his channel and that was spot on. He’s a beast over there.
Think Good Good is a lot of fun to watch and they definitely have their lane and crush it. But Luke doesn’t seem like he is still in to spinning a wheel and having to hit a drive with a tennis racket. Would be really surprised if at the end of 2024 Luke hasn’t gone solo like Grant and Micah.

Matt playing the last 3 rounds at +5 is very very impressive after going +14 in the first round
Agreed, and that's with a few short putts that missed on the final round.
I don't think people fully appreciate how good these guys are. Matt plays like a low single digit handicap and can't compete at all with Garrett, Luke, and Brad. Even Steven played four rounds without several clubs and was clearly in pain and averages single digits over par.

I know he's leading at the moment, but why has Kwon looked so disinterested in even being there in all these videos?
I think the reality of being with GG has just caught up to him. He probably saw a good opportunity at the start but once you really get into it week after week, it probably just gets really old really quick. The corny video themes, being around guys that are essentially still kids...it all just gets old. Think about how Garrett, Steve and Matt act on camera in videos and vlogs. As someone that's older and more mature, can you imagine having to be around that all the time? It's time for the next chapter.

@@Matt-ed2wq there's levels to "immaturity." Luke is definitely goofy/silly while some of the younger guys are what I'd call corny. As someone in my 30s, I can laugh and have a good time while finding the humor of kids in their early 20s annoying. Both can exist.

For all the kwon fans have a listen. Some personal stuff happened in his life I think, just got back from New Zealand what’s a 14 hour flight and 21 hour time zone difference. The videos don’t look like it cuz of there release schedule but that’s 72 holes of golf five days in a row plus on the road of course he’s gonna be tiered more than others look at the thumbnail photo. Playing sports around the world plus beeing from New Zealand I understand how he can feel
Based on the timeframe This was before his New Zealand trip! He said in Busta Jack video he was there Feb 15ish to Feb 29. This was shot about a week after good good desert open which was Feb 7th. Honestly they might have gone so early cause kwon had a flight to catch later this day to New Zealand which explains him rushing around? But he’s been this way for a bit… who knows. I’m sure something will Get released soon.
Not buying it. There should be no reason why there isn't any dialogue between Kwon and the rest of the group when they are on the tee or in the cart, regardless of if he's tired or not. It's like they all hardly even talk anymore. You don't shut down talking with your friends just because you're tired from a long trip. I mean, he wasn't too tired to play the golf during the week after all. Besides, even if he was tired, he could have easily chosen to let Bubbie play instead, and he could have been the commentator. I mean, nobody is even riding with Luke in the carts anymore in the last few vids. It's not like people wouldn't still like him or wouldn't still talk to to each other, if there were no problems.
I haven’t finished this yet but for me the real winner is Matt S. From +14 in the first round he has ground it out and played so well almost like a scratch golfer. So good

We all knew how this was going to end. It was like Kwon was forced to play with a handicap for the Rat. Watch him on any given day on any other channel and he never plays like this. I think we learned a lot about Kendrick and Garretts budding relationship 👨❤️👨 Matt was realy impressive, Kwon you’ll always be the people’s champ.

Garrett is definitely a guy who burns bright but quickly it seems, he did a ton of content with Grant, then AJ, then some kwon content, sploosh and Corinna this summer now a ton with Brad. Just seems he goes in stretches.

Last but not least, Steve, I don't know why you were a little sour and breaking clubs in the early rounds, but you played to about a 7 handicap. More impressive is the way you gutted out the final round. That was an enjoyable series to watch. All of you should be thankful that this is what you get to do for a living. Having said that, everyone of you and the technical boys put in the effort, so you deserve what you reap. Oops, I almost forgot well done, Jim Bubbie Nantz. It must have been hard to watch for four days, my hats off to you.😊
I think the crap weather made things tough physically and mentally for some of the boys. Overall solid series. Garrett always tries his best good win. I was pulling for Matt after they axed him from the final group sort of a dick move then on his behalf after his putter went haywire i went in my garage and snapped my putter over my knee but he played well after a tough start the first 18. Steve was Steve boy needs to take care of his body, AJ had a rough series but stayed fairly positive throughout I think he is better than this series just a tough stretch. Brad always a joy wasn't on top of his game but stayed competitive. I feel like if Kwon gave 2 shits he would have won by 10. Bubbie your outlawed from sitting out ever again really missed your vibe this series.

Start a series where the handicaps change per the rounds you play. So if G started at a set handicap for the first round let it change for the next courses you play. I am not well versed at the handicap system but may bring in a different dynamic if something similar is possible. Like if G won this one his handicap should be adjusted according to the 4 rounds played for the next shootout... I hope this makes some vague sense! Love the work. Keep it up

I love how AJ isn't playing his best but he is staying calm and collected through the whole tournament very encouraging to see. I'm a high handicap too (a good round for me is mid 90s) and all my golf friends play par golf so I know how frustrating it is playing and feeling like your so far behind lol. Way to go AJ
Man, Aj had a tough go in this series. As one of the best/humblest people involved with good good I hate to seem him struggle. Just seems like a really solid and occasionally underrated guy. Major props to AJ, keep grinding my man.

Hey guys I loved this road trip would love to see more of it. Especially loved the 1 hour vids. For me personally it’s hard to watch anything longer than that just with a busy schedule.
