I can't explain it - I have no plans to get into wood house modeling and I don't have a train set and I build paper models, but no houses but mainly old vehicles, but I have been a subscriber for years and get a fuzzy feeling every time I watch your videos. I know it has something to do with the fact that your kits are made from real wood, which is such a warm, friendly material. And then of course, I really like your friendly manner of presentation. I know, I sound like a broken record, but I have to get that out ever so often...lol! Please keep them coming...!!!
Wanted to wish you and your family a 🎅Merry Christmas🎅 and a Happy New Year. Thanks for sharing your videos on the journey of building your layout. Be safe and see you in your next video. 👍🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂
Jason, another fantastic video, and this time with three builds in one! Watching your structure builds over the past few years has taught me so much, and after some practice on some other kits, I am in the middle of my first FSM kit which happened to belong to my grandfather. I think he would be proud. Thanks for the inspiration, and sharing your techniques - Keep up the great work! -John
A three -fer build.. outstanding tutorial with tips, painting, weathering, details.. now to locate on your layout for placement.. sort of a “ where’s Waldo’s buildings” to find..
Jason, yet more amazing builds. Great job. Great advice on placing building on your layout, don't put square to the edge, love it. Cheers, and stay safe, Michael
The only way I could make an impact on my [future] layout is by becoming Jason Jensen, which I cannot do 😆 I guess I will continue enjoying your videos and maybe some day I will be able to implement some of the knowledge you share here. Have a Happy New Year!!!
Jason, thanks for the up-close demo of your painting technique. We all learn so much from the processes you've shown us. I have a question; when you use a wire brush or saw for wood grain, do you get fuzzies? Do you do anything to eliminate them? Thanks.
Brilliant kit builds Jason, really enjoyed watching, I love all the crusty looks to the structures and the signs on the walls really bring the buildings alive. There are still a couple of weeks left in the year, how many more kit builds can you fit in, just joking 👍❤️
FOS's KOMs occasionally come on sale on eBay. They generally sell for between $45 and $60, depending on the kit. I recently picked up a Kruiswyck Coal (KOM #8) - which I had been looking for for years.

Jason, how can I guy watching one of your builds not get excided? Took your advise and in one city scene I moved them around and created a wow factor, instead of it looks good. Thanks for you incites on building and placements on modeling.
Your lay out is going to the level George Selios created. Really beautifull.
It’s gonna be better!!

You really know how to add your own touches to each building!
Thank you so much!!! I really appreciate it! 👍
Bedford lobster shack building came out so good. I love the Coca Cola machine and all the detail work
Your brick building looks awesome!
Those are some cool little buildings. Not a train guy but just love your technique. Thanks for sharing
Jason, I love watching you create a miniature world. Your talent and imagination are world-class.
Great to see the different techniques that you use.

Thank you so much!!!
Fantastic skills. I agree with the G. Selios comparison. Great job and thanks for sharing!
Thank you Jason well done! I picked some tips and I'm headed to the workbench to try them out.
Those kits came out great! I really liked seeing the train running through the city...beautiful, Jason!
Hi Jason,
Another awesome video! Those three little kits look pretty cool. Thanks again for sharing all your techniques with us.
The high window isn't a mistake, it's a kit bashing opportunity! ;-)

Jason, you never disappoint! Well done tutorials and just plain interesting!
What can I say? You're just amazing in all you do.
Absolutely brilliant, as always, Jason. I just wish I had a fraction of your artistic talent.
Good video - such detailed work. Thanks
Working on my first FOS structures as we speak. Thanks for all the tips, and nice builds! - Paul

Very interesting builds. I’m new to wooden kits and I wonder why you stain them before painting them with acrylics?

Great builds, what size pounce wheel do you use to create the nail holes?
coming up a year of watching now, such a great channel. Would you consider adding a ruined building, one that has been partially burnt out? Devon, UK.
JJT goes synth pop... that's pretty neat.

Jason of the best stain what combination do you think would recreate creosoted wood?
thats an amazing question. Creosote when its new, is so dark I'm not sure a stain could represent it accurately

Who makes the shingles? Great model building as usual.

very nice but what if you dont want your models looking ike there ready for the bulldozer??
Anything you build close to water/sea should have seagulls don’t you think?
Question?? Does anyone know if they make Christmas village kits that you can build? Thanks
Why blank out the name of the glue?
First!
seams like you forget to turn on the camera a lot lol.
