For this to be their 1st collector doll I'm actually quite impressed especially with the price point. I wish the body for the collector doll is different. Another thing I'm disappointed about is the shoes. It's giving playline. I always say this if RH dolls can give us fabric shoes then collector dolls has no excuse in giving plastic ones.
I am with you with the disappointment on the body and was also quite impressed with the doll overall. For some reason, the shoes here were that last thing I was interested in, so it did not bother me as much that they gave playline. I felt where she needed to step up she did, and the other area we will hope she improves in.
The upgraded Defa Lucy doll is beautiful and her jacket, boots and body suit is very nice. The face sculpt is nice but I am not to hip on bangs. Overall she is very nice.❤ I always love your restyles!❤
Thank you. I wanted to showcase that the playline items work with the upgraded look. I personally do not love bangs on dolls, but with her face mold, I felt it worked.
You should compare her to the exact playline doll that they have with the same bangs/ hairstyle same body....basically , same face sculpt. The clothes are great! But it is a new face screening and new nicer clothes. I love the effort for sure...but am looking forward to the rest in the future!
Hola, Christopher. This Defa Lucy is beautiful. I think it reminds me of Barbie Xtra. I only collect Barbies and Kens by Mattel. But, for the adult doll collector who likes this doll, then they should add her to their collection. Thanks for sharing.
As an integrity toys doll collector again only Poppy and Agnes 😊, I wouldnt buy the knockoffs. Unless the clothes are good quality and fit Barbie. I also think she is priced very high for a knockoff of a high end fashion doll considering you can get a real high end basic doll for $95-$110
So.... lol, her $65 price is amazing for the quality she has. When comparing her to her Playline sister, the right changes were made to introduce a collectors doll. I do not think she is trying to be like an Integrity Toys doll, more like a Barbie in an Intergity Toys packaging. I have reviewed another line that does want to be Integrity Toys and whose quality is even lower than the Defalucy collector doll and whose price tag is higher. In my opinion, Defalucy has introduced herself very well for her #NewEra.

I think Defa Lucy is doing a good job at being the knockoff jhd and integrity toys doll. I remember getting my first knock off barbie and being excited 😂😂😂 Back in the day Barbie was considered expensive and we were happy to get a knockoff Barbie. As an adult Barbie and integrity toys doll (only Poppy and Agnes) collector. I understood that the real Ones are expensive. However I wouldn’t buy this doll. 😊
Honestly, Defalucy is higher quality than JHD. I wouldn't call the collector doll a knock off of either brand. Defalucy uses packaging inspired by Integrity Toys. But the doll appears closer to a Barbie signature doll with better quality. Defalucy is out of her knock out era.
@@justchristophertv perhaps I need to see her body mold or hold her in person. I only have 2 jhd dolls to compare her to, roses kiss and the bloom hour 5th anniversary. My only complaint is that they have very very long legs.
This collector doll is so beautiful and wearing my favourite colour 🖤 wonderful quality! Just sad she was so limited.

When I went looking for the playline dolls , there weren't many left. I also chose this one because I like her outfit the best.
