    After losing that heartbreaking US Open semifinal, he went on a tear and won every single match for the remainder of the year. Davis Cup playoffs, Basel, Paris and the World Tour Finals - only dropping a total of six sets en route (2 in Davis Cup playoffs, 1 in Basel, 3 at the WTFs).

      @@antunvucica9648 They can still be "weak" top players at the time. Gasguet has horrendous H2H vs Big 3, same as Berdych. Only Tsonga could be classed as a high quality "top" player

    people can have favorites and i will have mine nobody played the game like roger federer others may surpass him in grand slam wins but many many tennis fans watched roger for years put on a display of outrageous talent and grace lots of tennis players on tour with talent but federer was gifted an extra special talent

    Oh how i long back to those magical forehand times. For me that year was the end of Federers prime. Never found the same level on the forehand side again. Up to 2011 you hit a shot to his forehand you’re in trouble

    Novak’s records may be better now but no player will ever be as exquisite as Roger. Always an absolute joy to watch and made tennis an art form. The courts are too slow and the rally’s too long now. Not enough variety between surfaces.

    What a genius. Nobody can play like this. As great as his serve and forehand was, the video again, like so many others, shows how uniquely masterful and resilient his backhand was, and how clueless all the newbies are, badmouthing his backhand here recently, comparing it to Tsitsipas (gigantic cluelessness), etc. He could hit any angle from any position with it, like nobody else.

    Fed had the goldilocks 2003 -2009 weak era unitil djoki/nadal got going and fed faded along with his weak backhand and weak mental strength..Fed had a 30% ish winning record in GS matches ,GS Finals and over all ATP finals against nadal and djoki that is complete failure. Fed couldn't even beat nadal once at frecnh and only beat nadal 2 times on clay!! Novak beat nadal 2 times at french and 8 times in total on clay! Novak beat fed 3 times in a row at wimbledon finals on fedsquah supposed best surface!!! 50% of feds titles were on the b circuit 250/500..fed faded away not evolving his game, didn't think when he played just thought the oogling fans would get him through..His koolaid drinking fans who got sold on the marketing of running shoes and watches commecials!! Djoki is tennis in every form showing the world how tennis is DONE!!! fed is running shoes and watches

      Djokovic has the most slams out of the Big 3 won by facing just 1 top 10 player. Federer has to most slams won by facing 3 top 10 players. Federer also is the only one out of the big 3 who won a slam by beating 4 top 10 players. Djokovic had 12 GS in the summer of 2018. 5 years later he has 24. Sounds like Djokovic is more of a weak era player.
