I missed these so much! I haven't been able to keep up with finding cool horror because my life has been pretty chaotic so I really appreciate these. Looking forward as always to your next video!
Great video. My favorite of these is definitely LGTS, of course, and I am glad you listed several of the exact reasons why. It was so delightful. Thank you for highlighting it in particular!
What a wonderful comeback for this series!! The format was lovely, listenin to Michael was a pleasant surprise, and the pace is not too dissimilar to the regular format. I feel that you found the sweet spot to cover games without giving too much away, the vocabulary used to keep any listener engaged, and the visuals are a delight. Granted, I might be biased because you're one of the few people I found that don't use (and abuse) fast-pacing edit so it allows me to bask in the game presented rather than go "ok what's next? ok and what's next?". Moreover, English closed captions are always welcome and it makes me wonder if there's any interest on the viewers' end for subtitles. As non-native English speaker here, it's something I always wonder because it creates a barrier for me to share videos with other non-English speakers. I understand that translating and synchronizing subs is also a heck of a job but, you know, curiosity will always be there. Regarding indie titles, I've been checking Latin American games after the Latin American Games Showcase happened earlier this year and I think Mechanikoi's Bleeding Roots, PuKo's Canine, Lost Diskettes, and Pupicrap's Zombie Applecalypse Revolution might be worth checking. Glad to have Games From Underground back and, as usual, it's a pleasure to sit down and ignore the real life horrors in favour of fictional horrors. Cheers!

Little Goody Two Shoes seems to be taking place in bavaria and not austria, because the Castle in the horizon is Neuschwanstein, which is located in bavaria.
Sadly this is the bed we gamers created. When gaming became as profitable as hollywood movies (if not more profitable) it was only a matter of time before people all about the money wanted some piece of the cake... and the entire cake too. And when profit is the priority, the less risk you take, the more guaranteed you are to make profit.
@@Rabbit-o-witz Agreed. It's also because of how a capitalist society works.. It's time for us to give to the indie industry the place they need to have. After all a video game is nothing without its players..
@@Rabbit-o-witz I would say the blame falls squarely on capitalisim and isn't something each individual gamer in the world can take responsability of. We're no more responsible for the plastic waste in our oceans than we are responsible for the state of the gaming industry. Sure, someone can choose to stop buying things made with plastics or certain videogames, but this wont stop these companies from making these products as visible and easily accessible as possible. However, while gamers aren't the problem, they are a part the solution: more unions/rights for gamedev employees so they wont be exploited and more support for indie devs so they can keep making awesome games!
@madyak2108 This. Ultimately, the only solution is socialism. Expropriation of EA and similar abominations, so that the workers run the companies collectively and democratically.

This might be a controversial take but, I kind of want to see what happens if the major stock investors start leaving the gaming industry. It might sound bad to make game development less invested in at first, but I look at some of the really awesome titles from way back, and to me it seems that many of them were basically done by a small group of talented nerds in a basement.
I think the solution is more unions for gamedev employees and more financial support for indie devs. That way, workers in the industry wont be exploited and our skilled indie nerds can make more games in their basements (and pay rent). =)
@@madyak2108 I'll have to respectfully disagree. Unionization has only lead to more bloat in my experience. What I propose here is that indie devs will be able to make rent and then some by keeping their operation small as well as maintaining copyrigh control over their own creations. This way they'll make the most money out of what they produce. And since they don't have a gaggle of greedy shareholders with unreasonable expectations to satisfy, even a modest success (like 1-5 million copies sold) will be a good payday for a small indie dev when they get to most of the profits rather than handing over the lions share to investors.

Another Ragnar masterpiece. Half in the video and already loving it, thank you for highlighting some of these experiences they are truly awesome.
Little Goody Two Shoes seems to be taking place in bavaria and not austria, because the Castle in the horizon is Neuschwanstein, which is located in bavaria.
Actually no, it takes place in Austria but you will only know that if you played Pocket Mirror so I understand the confusion :3
She lives in Kieferberg, which is in Austria. That Neuschwanstein must be a creative licence the devs took.
I think its a thematic choice thing since its nicknamed the fairytale castle, because the ruler that had it made was mildly batshit
