Hi Zoe, thank you for this, I'm soo glad you started this, please please do more of this, this is practical & straightforward! I thank you for your time, patience & desire to share your knowledge with us, please continue.💜
Hi Zoe! Thank you for the video and the new serie
I'm excited about it and looking forward to see more.😊
You're welcome! I'm happy so many people are receptive to this kind of video!
Thank you zone for the video I so glad you happy you made it soo wonderful designs thank you, zone thank you
As a person that doesn't want to draw, this is awesome. My focus is always pattern drafting and construction. Great option.
I love designing without drawing. More creative that way. Continue with these videos as well. I love all your work.
You are the BEST teacher! Please continue this design by draping series. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Thanks!

Love it!!!! Show MORE!!!! When I was in fashion designing school, draping was one of my favorite classes . Have a wonderful day and stay CREATIVE 😊 Robin N Otis -Clayborne
Thanks, Robin!
Best fashion channel on RUclips.
Definitely more!! Laying out the style lines this way makes so much sense to my brain!!
Excellent! 🌟
Yes! More please!😃
I forgot that I once knew how to do that! lol
I literally haven’t done that since college~which was at least 100 years ago!🤭
A very informative and enjoyable video
I'm definitely a design by draw kinda person, I first found you however many years ago by searching for illustration tutorials. Thank you so much for all of the amazing work you put on youtube on that. I think this concept is great, but I have two major issues with the execution. I find draping on half scale to be really problematic, because the drape and volume of drape is going to often be very different at full scale. 10 inches of gathered satin is going to behave very differently than 20. That also coincides with draping horizontally, gravity and other issues are going to have a huge impact on the final outcome. For me to follow a draping series, it would need to be full scale and shot on an upright dress form. I know you've always been behind your desk or shooting from overhead, so it would be a huge change for you, but I feel like that is the only effective way to design by draping. Whatever you choose to do, I know it will find an audience that loves it. You're amazing!
Definitely continue this series! Please! Please! Please!
Zoe after 50 you will be glad for those big colourful head pins because you can see them and grasp them when you are sewing😂Great video showing the art of draping. I always have a conflict between whether I love draping or flat pattern. Luckily we can do both depending which suits the design. Would love more draping videos
I LOVE draping. It allows me to play with shapes and then be analytical.
Yes! All the draping content!
Take my money!!
This was enlightening! I’m not in fashion design, but I’m a journeyman bespoke dressmaker. In school, we had one lesson about draping, but we never actually practiced it. Therefore, I understood the concept, but always felt like there was a gap in my knowledge stopping me from using it. Now I think that gap has been filled. Thank you!
It’s always great learning from people with other educational backgrounds and experience, so I would definitely love more videos like this one. Especially since we focused more on the technique and not so much on the design itself, I really appreciate your perspective!
I would love to see you take a fully formed idea to completion. Like, you've got your design illustrated. Your flats are done, so you've worked out all the details, like what seams you plan on using, what trims you'll use and so on. You've got your fabrics and materials. Now all you need to do is make the toile, and then sew up then final version.
Please continue with this series. Your instructions are always thorough.
Drapaj öğrenmeyi düşünürken karşıma çıkan, açıklayıcı ilk video. Umarım seri devam eder. Öğrenecek çok şey var 😊😊
Please please please continue this series!!! This is how I’ve always designed, even when I was a child! I love the drawing and sketching too but I’ve always just thrived on draping and pinning until I liked it 😂
Yeesss I love this series and can't wait for more! You're a great teacher and I feel like I learn so much from your videos
Yes please do a series using draping for design 🙏☺️
YEEEEEESSSSSS!!!!!! More of this please!!
Dear Zoe. U have no idea how much ur helping us .i really appreciate ur giving . With love from Saudi 🇸🇦
Yes please!!! Your amazing!!! I ❤️ u please make more of these amazing videos 🙏🏽🙏🏽
This was excellent!…I aspire to be a designer and your classes have been fantastic
Let's keep this series going Mrs.hong
yes, please continue this series,as designing i understood that the my best ideas comes from experimentation on dress form so i was trying to find some methods how to design by experimentation with real garments/fabrics but there are so little information about this,so rlly waiting for this series
I got sooo excited because I recently bought a small dress form to practice draping without using too much muslin and then boom your video pops up !!! 😭 you always know what we need and when
absolutely need more of these! thank youuu!
I'm looking to see the process of grading the miniature draped pattern to at least a standard mid starting size? I thought at first there was only the tiny forms until you showed us this 1/2 size, It will save me time and fabrics if I use the 1/2 size and/if I want to drape leather or use the stretch rules with the same fabric in draping as in a final piece / pattern. I'm happy experimenting not necessarily for final production. Again; your resources are, hands down the best.. Thank You Zoe..
love this! please keep the series going!
Please keep doing this series!!! I love your videos and this similar to my design process/how I want to eventually design.
Happy and Grateful to be here 🙇🏾♀️🫂✨
SN: Omg, definitely do more videos in this series! I was upset that the video ended 😤😅
Oh my exactly what I need. Please more in depth lessons would love love love. Looking forward. Best regards
I learned it from you..
My Guru❤
I love this series so much! Thank you zoe you’re the best teacher 🩷🩷
Thanks a lot Zoe! Having started sewing a while ago, along some leathercraft by now, and your video's are super helpful. They are high quality and very informative, and guide me along my own journey. They offer the bits of fundamental knowledge of this field, I think, and then they can be puzzled together :) I also love your energy. Have a good day!
We want more of this I have one problem that I focus on drawing and mood bordering more then the actual work and this video showed love uuuu
Thank you! Continue this series🌸🌸🌺

I really need to get over my fear of doing this and get started. I'd love to see how this works if you're trying to do a bias-cut design with draping. I bet it's insanely hard.
I really liked it it will be good to see more

Hi zoe, it’s Asal!! Thank you so mich for this series. Personally i get ideas by draping and experimenting not drawing so this is super exciting! How would i convert this to a pattern? Would i just measure stuff and modify the bodice block?
