This performance is spellbinding. It really is. In reality, it is literally one of the best live performances of all time. There aren’t many in that category, but this is surely one of them.

I am a HUGE BJC fan and think he should be a huge star....and I agree about the rapt attention..but the FULL silence was manufactured...you can hear that the sound was turned on by the sound engineer
@@donnalthood3102 I’ve always noticed this but never said anything about it. I kind of get why they did it (first time I watched it, I bought into it and I felt it) but it also kind of annoys me that they did it.
I love Radiohead but this version of creep is phenomenal. His voice never ceases to amaze me. Just fabulous. I was exactly the same as you with my reaction when I first heard this. Many blessings Amanda ❤🙏❤
I had only ever seen in movies a performance followed by a quiet pause and then a huge round of applause until I watched Brian sing Creep that night on AGT. He really had the audience's in the palms of his hand.
That always moves me, too! He’s spellbound an entire large theater!! That silence is deafening!

Yes, he is that good....this is the one performance I’ve never forgotten about once it’s over. From the time he finishes the song and the pause from the audience speaks for itself.
I get chills every time I hear him sing this song. Before this I had never heard this song before. I cannot listen to anyone else sing this even the original without going back to his version.

@@TeaTimeWithTravis check out Calum Scott's audition on Britians Got Talent. I looked through your videos and didn't see it but I could have missed it. His sister auditions before him and gets told no and as usual Simon is not nice about it. Then Calum has to audition right behind her. Watch the look he gives Simon when he first comes out. He looks angry as anyone would be.

I watched this on tv and held my breath through the entire song, and for the several seconds of awe from the audience and then I burst into tears! He is phenomenal! Loved your reaction…it was so genuine!! ❤️

That audition, hands down, is fucking superb!!! I've watched it so many times and each time, I still cannot fully process just how brilliant that composition and delivery was ❤❤❤
Definiitely one of the VERY BEST ever on the show. I remember I was watching the show and not paying much attention the first time I heard it. BUT, the first word out of his mouth brought me right INTO the show and his performance. The pause at the end of utter silence by the huge audience showed the POWER that he held over them. The utmost respect an audience can ever give a singer. Every time i see a review on here I have to listen to it. You gave one of the best. You let YOUR emotions show and your followers love you for that reason. Congratulations.

Great review Travis. One of the things that made the performance even more meaningful was the background of his life experience explained to the audience. He had the balls to change "she's running out to he's running out" which added so much more honesty to his performance. It was brave as hell and was the frosting on the cake. 3 seconds passes before the audience applauded which means he held them spellbound. Unbelievable. You should review his Someone to love by Queen. It's amazing too.

My absolute favorites rendition of this song, amazing ❤️ Brian is a vocal story teller, drawing you in with the soft whisper so you have to listen and then he makes your heart stop with the explosion, you can finally breathe again but remain silent.

Like you, I’m not the obvious talent Brian is, but I can so completely relate to the problems he describes earlier in his life. I used to fear being called a “weirdo” and being so painfully different from most other people. That kind of hurt can either destroy you or it can make you stronger. I think we can all see that the psychic cuts and bruises that he survived and conquered not only made him the strong man he seems today, it has made him the beautiful, powerful talent he is today. Hearing him sing that most affectingly-haunting song, you’d think it was his own personal anthem…he owned it…and I know that his breathtaking performance touched so many more hearts than he will ever know. Thank you, Travis, for blessing us all with this most humbling performance. Long may he (and you) wave! 😉👍

I actually subbed on your ‘Rise’ video. I am a straight guy with a Gay son and I can totally relate to Brian’s mother. I am so proud of what he has achieved. I am so happy that Superfruit are in the position that they can send the message they did. I’ll be checking out your other videos and look forward to what comes next. I have two very special reasons as well and every time I hear his back story when his mom says she would fall on her knees and pray I can't help but cry.

We ALL relate to him in this. The truth is we all feel these powerful lyrics. And his beautiful voice goes deep into our hearts. I certainly feel like a creep and weirdo too often. That’s why I struggle with such angst and lack of confidence as a singer and songwriter. I doubt people could ever like what I do. Anyway, when he sings this, it makes me tear up. Every time. Kathy here - just found your channel. I love this version of Creep by Brian. He slayed it and the audience was just silent during the entire performance, with their mouths just open, until it's over, and then complete silence, for about 5 seconds, and then the audience erupted with applause. You need to check out the rest of his songs from America's Got Talent. But if you want to listen to another version of Creep, check out Post Modern Jukebox, featuring Haley Reinhart. Totally different vibe than any other version you will hear of Creep.
He has a mega voice. The emotion, delivery and range. All that bullying helped give him that ability to share the pain and revel in the good times. A masterclass.

We are all creeps and weirdos in one way or another, but we ALL belong!! I was cruelly made fun of and bullied through middle school for my looks and being the smart kid. I hated myself. But I choose to see that experience as a positive thing, because it helped me become the strong and confident person I am now. We should all view our dark pasts in this way.

There's like 2 entire seconds of dead silence in the ENTIRE crowd after he stopped. This is maybe the most impactful performance I've ever seen.

Hi Travis, I absolutely love watching people with their first reactions especially when it’s someone who’s talent and personality is so enjoyable to me. I absolutely fell in love with Brian on his AGT walk and just absolutely love his voice, I love the power of his presentation and I just pray his future continues to soar to the sky.
I’ve always been very fond of Barbra Streisand and Celine Dion and they got together and did a duet called “tell him” and I’m telling you Brian Justin Crum and Matt Bloyd got together and did the same song “tell him“ and it yet it just knocked me, you really just have to hear that song I I know that you would love it, the things you will feel in that song or just unbelievable. BJC and Alfie Boe are my two favorite singers out of all the types of genres. I remember when Brian auditioned...he hooked me. But this song...he reaches into my heart and helps to heal the decades of pain from being "different"...what a beautiful gift.

I've watched a few of your videos before and so I knew what you would be like watching this. That you would relate to it more than most reactors do because of who you are. The only surprise to me was that you'd never heard of him before 😮.
Travis: I’ve watched this very video, I swear, hundreds of times, and each time am moved to tears by the power and substance of his voice. This time the video played, though, I watched YOU. I noticed that you swing in your chair as you’re doing your intro.(and who doesn’t love those twirling office chairs?). What I observed was stunning. You were moving back and forth, but literally the VERY FIRST NOTE that came out of Brian’s mouth, you just STOPPED and sat , unmoving and transfixed by the sound in front of you. …. Can’t tell you how much that affected me! Seeing your physical reaction- amazing. Thank you for a beautiful review. And you’re right, he SHOULD be a superstar. I knew you’d appreciate him. It’s nearly impossible not to feel every note. He holds that note for so long and doesn’t look like he had to stop for a breath.
I had called also recommended his 1st audition Somebody to Love. Brian May from Queen invited Crum to perform a couple nights with Queen on their musical. There are others from performances on AGT but he was brought back to the 1st AGT Champions where he performed Elton John’s Your Song & Never Enough from the Greatest Showman. I’d recommend going from Somebody to Love to Your Song & Never Enough. Simon tells him he should focus on the types of songs and I hope Simon or some producers are working on something big for him.
In the meantime he released a single called Circles. I’m not in love with it. I bought it to support Brian but it’s not my favorite. He’s also released some cover videos where it’s not over produced. Just him in the studio and they’re impressive. The thing with shows like AGT is that it’s live

He has a beautiful voice but I think his greatest talent is how he can sing out the pain so EveryonE can relate to it, no matter their own life experiences.
Brian's version is very emotional and I love it. There is another version that will blow you away by Haley Reinhart with Post Modern Jukebox. Haley placed 3rd on American Idol in 2011 and most believe she should have won. She has had a relatively successful career since and has the jazziest and bluesiest voice. Her version has 100 million views since released in 2015. Haley has been my favorite singer since American Idol until I discovered Angelina Jordan who now shares that spot. Loving your channel Travis!!!
Haley's version with PMJ is akin to Joe Cocker's cover of "I Get By With a Little Help From My Friends" and Heart covering "Stairway to Heaven" at the Kennedy Center. It is one of the best covers of a song I have ever heard.

I feel I was suppose to watch this with you (seen it many, many times) but when you stated that you could relate to his words, you deeply touched my heart. You are a wonderful, beautiful man. Please believe me ( I'm 75 yrs old) so this is just a person that sees your beautiful smile and your beautiful eyes and your heart.
