The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame honored this song in the new Singles category. It was #1 world wide in 1967!!! I was 15 when this was released!! It will outlive us all!!🎶🎼🎵🎹🎸🥁🎤🎧🔥🔥🤘🤘
I don’t steer you wrong my brother! Great reaction!! This is one of only 26 singles to ever sell more than 10 million copies. RIP to Gary Brooker lead singer of Procol Harum. His voice aged like fine wine. Thx again for this one!! Peace
Thank you for reacting to one of the greatest songs in the history of pop music. I'm just amazed that you have a daughter old enough to play a musical instrument! I thought you were still in your early 20's!
I had this album as a young man and singer Gary Booker was in great form here, floating his raspy yet pitch perfect voice overtop of all that rich beautiful background and the two compliment each other so well, it's hard to imagine this song done any other way. This performance just always makes me feel good. Show this to your daughter.
The best band ever in my opinion. They have a great music catalogue and although this was their first and biggest hit there are so many great tracks.A Salty Dog or Grand Hotel may be rwo for you to react to. I first was blown away by this song in 1967 as a school boy and still listen and love it as a pensioner were did the time go.I have seen them live 8 times (5 with orchestra and choir)and if it wasn't for Gary's untimely passing it would have been more.I will watch out to see if you get into this band you wont regret it.
Pronounced Pro-coal Hair-umm and I remember reading that the name came from someone's cat's name. If you get the chance, listen to the original 1967 version that Procol Harum did. Think you'll find that Gary Brookers voice did age like fine wine. The original band line-up included guitarist Robin Trower who absolutely rocked it on PH's "Whiskey Train" (studio version) & put us in cowbell heaven. Thanks so much for your reaction. Cheers from Canada
I've always said it's not important to like all music, but it's important to recognize important music. I appreciate your open mindedness and taste, making for some great reactions so far. If you want to switch it up to some non-thrash non-constant-screaming metal, check out Devon Townsend Project - Deadhead (Live at Royal Albert Hall). I'd be shocked if you didn't enjoy it.
Mann, great reaction thank you L❤VE is track!! If you want to react to a new independent rap artist that is changing the rap genre ( yes saw your poster in the background) Then please, please, please give this man a listen REN Losing it 🔥🔥🔥 Enjoy the rabbit hole brother.. looking forward to your reaction + 1 new sub 🙂👍
Haha, you got tricked. Some of us know the song. Our fun is when you " realize." Theres another older version without the orchestra. For those who were alive to hear him , the orchestra was a beautiful ad. We learned through music how to " stretch our hearts, give it a chance and hold judgment after not before. Nice reaction.
Sorry you feel that way the reason it wasnt in synce was a old software i was using threw a app that lagged during editing sorry this made you feel that way i do apreciate the song and its platform and you stopping by thank you.
Loved them so much in 70s what a voice,he sadly has passed now.
Of a certain age, we will never forget the the sound of that Hammond c organ

Your daughter must have one hell of a band!
🤣🙏🙏🙏
Yes my daughter too played and they were awesome. I was expecting wrong notes, yadda, yadda, yadda, I was shocked they were so good so young.
If you loved this can I recommend another banger!
PAOLO NUTINI
‘Iron Sky’ - live Abbey Road Studios
Even I was embarrassed, this melody is based on Air On A G String by Bach, if you've ever heard of him.
Exactly - and Gary made the orchestra arrangement as well.
My Dog loves him.
I don’t believe your daughter’s band could play this well. 😮
🤣🤣
❤😊
That's a full orchestra dude
🤯🤯🔥
Band concert well gravy and biscuits you got it Wong
🤣🤣🤣🤣

Hope you showed your daughter.
Hmm, not impressed. A reactor who just bops his head completely out of time with the music - about 2x the speed. Its just not sincere

Take no notice
