The adults were out drinking and having a good time and my siblings, cousins, and I were watching TV and we were watching TWD💀 tiny ass little 5 year old me watching all these zombies😂 scared me for the night, thought every shadow was a walker
Whoever animated that single shambling walker in the later season openings deserves a raise and flowers. I also loved that the first iteration of that opening had one walker, who was later joined by a Whisperer (holding a knife), and it soon became a horde. Just great work overall.
Carl went from a character I despised, and genuinely wanted killed off, to one of my favourites. Really one of the biggest character growths in television
My favorite are seasons 1-2. I love how they show the newspaper of Rick getting shot and then show pictures of Shane and Lori. I also like how they show the rv and farmhouse and empty stores and buildings and streets and packed highways which show how the apocalypse took ahold of the world.
Man I love the details of season 9-11 intros they add in little details in For example In the season 10 the final seconds of the opening you could see the pike victims In season 11s final seconds you could see more walkers and the common wealth soldiers I love the way it's done.
and in the S11 for a split second you can see Mercer’s red suit in the front. there’s soo many amazing details in 9-11 that make up for them not being the live action ones. One of my favourites is seeing Michonne and Judith’s swords.Judith’s sword is show to almost be leaning on Michonne’s. but once Michonne leaves to find Rick, Judith’s sword is standing on its own, showing how she has had to learn to fight for herself and be her own saviour
4:54 we see the season 9 intro and a helicopter leaving, symbolizing rick leaving the show, it doesn’t return in the season 10 intro because he’s gone 5:34. But it returns in the season 11 intro at 6:21. Rick is returning edit. rick came back to the show
My absolute favorite detail is definitely in season 9-10 where it shows a whisperer holding a knife and walking with the other two walkers it’s so subtle that if you blink you could miss it

The first season intro is my favorite. Seeing all the street corners and stores looted and abandoned creates this feeling of dread and sadness because of how clean it looks in comparison to how it would look in later seasons. Its so fresh into the apocalypse that. It all is. Also the portraits of the characters hammers in that feeling of tragedy because it's easy to imagine all the portraits lying around now abandoned houses of people who are now dead.

@@IamJohnnyBoy I actually prefered the season after Season 1 and 2. The time from Season 3 to 7 was so good with so many iconic moments. Season 8 just felt too long. Season 9-11 is hard to compare for me without Rick

Anyone else remember old yt vids playing this during a tense scene. Action or mystery or something and TWD theme would play? It was like how a bunch of old yt vids played somebody I used to know
And that was just the very 1st episode of season 11. The intro slowly changed with each new episode, the music changed too

Not a huge fan of the animated intros. Idk what inspired the change. That alongside Rick leaving the show makes me feel that seasons 9-11 are the epilogue of the walking dead
