I love how the intro gets grimier and bloodier as the show goes on, and then in season 8-11 it gets cleaner but more overgrown showing how the world has adjusted to the fact that there is living dead, like the last of us almost

Yeah for me I think its like a twist of Shane's photo, looking like a regular man, but as we see how he changed the photo looks eerie. The drop I think for me makes it feel evil, unusual, mysterious.
It's funny how Daryl became so popular that Reedus went from being left out of the Season 1 opening to jumping to the 2nd name in multiple seasons and then being the first name after Lincoln left the show.
Daryl didn't even exist in the comic book of Walking Dead.
Season 3-4s intros will always be my favorite, there's something about the prison and how everyone has their own little item that represents them that gets me.
I’m gonna miss these intros. Especially since I grew up on them. Man, I remember watching Glenn’s death. I still remember it to this day. Same with Abraham’s.

Bro, the first time I watched TWD it was a little get together thing with my relatives. The adults were out drinking and having a good time and my siblings, cousins, and I were watching TV and we were watching TWD💀 tiny ass little 5 year old me watching all these zombies😂 scared me for the night, thought every shadow was a walker
I have noticed that the more the seasons go by, the TWD logo gets more dirty with blood, cracks and grime, implying that in a world like this it is eating you little by little in every way
S1 s3 and s9 intros are amazing

My favorite are seasons 1-2. I love how they show the newspaper of Rick getting shot and then show pictures of Shane and Lori. I also like how they show the rv and farmhouse and empty stores and buildings and streets and packed highways which show how the apocalypse took ahold of the world.
I love that the title at the end of these intros gets way more destroyed, that's genius!

In the season 10 the final seconds of the opening you could see the pike victims
In season 11s final seconds you could see more walkers and the common wealth soldiers I love the way it's done.

and in the S11 for a split second you can see Mercer’s red suit in the front. there’s soo many amazing details in 9-11 that make up for them not being the live action ones.
One of my favourites is seeing Michonne and Judith’s swords.Judith’s sword is show to almost be leaning on Michonne’s. but once Michonne leaves to find Rick, Judith’s sword is standing on its own, showing how she has had to learn to fight for herself and be her own saviour
When watching the season after ricks disappearance i love watching the different phases and that he saved lives even if it was a cost of his life.

In the first season op the doorknob moving always gives me chills and Loris photo laying in the rubble gives it a good creepy vibe
The theme song music itself create a fear in us before watching the episodes. One on the best web series i seen in my life time.

My absolute favorite detail is definitely in season 9-10 where it shows a whisperer holding a knife and walking with the other two walkers it’s so subtle that if you blink you could miss it
Glenn’s watch stopped working in op 5 and 6. In the 5th, we thought he was killed by the walkers, in 6th his death was coming. In the 7th, we don’t see his watch cause you know what happened…and we see his picture burning

Beth's death always gets me, her realizing what she had to do and dying because of it, not to mention when Daryl carries her out and Maggie cries. 😭
The deaths that got me the most were lori and tdogg(because they were the same episode, we thought carol died with them at the time, it was the most death in an episode yet(of main characters) and i was like 7 years old watching that for the first time) hershel(that shit tore me up i immediately cried my fucking soul out that was the last thing i was expecting, once again i was like 8 when this one aired.), beth(i had the biggest crush on her lmao), glenns fakeout season 6 death(bro i started screaming at the tv i couldnt believe it.), glenn and abraham(im ngl i cheered during abrahams because it wasnt glenn or daryl and i knew he was gonna die because it felt right.), carls i was in denial for but i didnt really cry, i saw spoilers for henry, and honestly the last death to REALLY hit me and these fucking hit me as big as hershels, was the series finale deaths of luke, jules, and rosita. Because…God Damn. The acting during luke and jules deaths- and the fear because of how fast they died in the finale- that shit scared me so much and lukes group BREAKING DOWN during that scene was some of the best fucking acting ive seen on that fucking show and then fucking rositas death when she was so calm and told eugene dont cry because shes right the- OMMMMFG that whole finale killed me. That - ive rewatched it 5 times cried like a baby everytime that shit was so sad.
Season 5 was the best intro the beat drop when it switches to “ away with you” and the intensity where it shows you a path to the woods
god, i remember binging up to season 4 i believe back in 2014 in a few days together with my mom till 4 am. i havent watched the show since mid season 8 i believe but i kinda wanna start all over again but omg its sooo much.
Season 9 and 10 were really good season 11 has been good so far as well. I just watched them this year I stopped at season 8 like you but I'm so glad I got back into it.

I like how the title in the intro gets dirtier, bloodier, and older as the seasons go on because this show has been around since 2010, and this detail is really neat
The musical orchestration of the openings of post-break season 11 (The Commonwealth) has also changed compared to the first part of the same season.
The first season intro is my favorite. Seeing all the street corners and stores looted and abandoned creates this feeling of dread and sadness because of how clean it looks in comparison to how it would look in later seasons. Its so fresh into the apocalypse that. It all is. Also the portraits of the characters hammers in that feeling of tragedy because it's easy to imagine all the portraits lying around now abandoned houses of people who are now dead.

@@IamJohnnyBoy I actually prefered the season after Season 1 and 2. The time from Season 3 to 7 was so good with so many iconic moments. Season 8 just felt too long. Season 9-11 is hard to compare for me without Rick

As much as I fell out of love of the TV show, I have to admit that the last few title sequences are the best.
They're all great but 5-6 were the best in my opinion, that shot of the lone walker in the field is still so chilling
I loved how it shows each character’s definitive item between each actors name too like Lincon and the Pyton, Reedus and the Kutte and Bike as well as Yeun and the pocket watch
