Went to La Saladita back in 2007, a little swell at 5' was perfect! Surfed in front of Lourdes food place, even bought a T shirt. Great waves at Saladita, it was breaking from the rivermouth. Also hit the "Ranch" wow! awesome surf! but the trail in and out beat the crap outa our rental car lol. We did notice many armed federales, some were barricaded with sandbags and big machine guns. We saw people pulled over by them, but we drove past all that, maybe because we had boards on our roof. Thanks for the post, quarantined at home and these vids sure help out. Mahalo!

I believe i drove there from Montauk NY winter/ spring 2007. Surfed and SUPed it. Jerry Lopez was there surfing, i told him to drop in ahead of me one day big swell , we did 3 crossovers and rode that wave together. Caught some very good March swell there.
