  • In AutoCAD, the Line Tool is a fundamental drawing tool used to create straight lines or line segments in 2D or 3D models. It allows you to accurately define the position, length, and orientation of lines within your drawings.
To access the Line Tool in AutoCAD, you can use various methods:
Select the Line Tool from the Draw panel in the Ribbon menu.
Type "LINE" in the command line and press Enter.
Use the keyboard shortcut "L" and press Enter.

I think you have to zoom in so much because the standard autocad is in millimeters

I have been converting to Autocad from Turbocad and have to tell you I think autocad stinks one thing everyone fails to teach is if your last line of 3 meters is incorrect how do you change it to 4 meters and from where does it extend in turbo cad there is the tool bar at the bottom i can just type it in change the origin point and it will extend from that point or default is the center.
