Any requests for recipes / cool stuff you've seen let me know! I try my best to reply to as many comments as possible, but it is hard to as I am busy working on the next video, but please interact with eachother and be respectful :-) #barrylewis

My Virgin Kitchen I really enjoy your gadget testing and your sweet recipes! You said that you were going to do a video on the gadget that makes rice cubes! Bye
yep yep I will be
yeah I do them every few weeks
My Virgin Kitchen I hope you and your beautiful family have an awesome day. My tweens and I love all the videos! Your girls are adorable, and fun. Your wife's recipes are yummy. Smiles from California!
My Virgin Kitchen you should make mini eggets
You sure did Handel that well
I see what you did there nice
The best cooking stuff on youtube, thank you for providing such awesome content so regularly.
My Virgin Kitchen I'd also like to see you come Bach with more videos featuring this product.
Badumtss
Mozart the time, puns are hard to Handel. I should make a Liszt of the good ones.
I grew up with these egg waffles in Hong Kong, and to see you bite them off is like seeing someone bites a kit-kat diagonally.
How are you supposed to eat it?
I like how you roast people in the comments back. lol. cracks me up.
When I was in New Plymouth (NZ) I went to a bubble waffle house that filled each bubble with a filling (raspberry white choc, m&m etc) and served it as a cone with ice cream, sauce and toppings....SO GOOD!! We went back the next day!
Hi Barry! I rarely leave comments on videos, but I wanted to tell you just how much I appreciate your videos! I suffer from anxiety and depression. And I'm going through a particularly rough patch. At night I've been binge watching your kitchen gadget videos. There's something about your lovely accent and genuinely kind demeanor that is really relaxing! Hope that doesn't seem too strange haha. Thank you! 😌
Its such a delight starting my morning with your videos playing while getting ready
he literally said he put them on wrong in the original video and yet people still felt the need to inform him of what he already knew and admitted minutes later......ugh?! lol great videos though keep them coming!
hey Barry, you gonna give that bubble waffle maker away to an adoring fan with a crazy adoration for waffles? like me? you should give it to me. I need more waffle things in my life.
i'll be doing giveaways very very soon on the live cookalongs
Wojo you know you can buy one?
What? No way! They exchange goods and services for currency? It's too absurd. I don't believe you. You must be full on crazy to expect anyone to believe that nonsense. Surely, the mere idea that objects can be bought or sold at all is insane. No sir. This cannot possibly be true.
Wojo dumb boy / girl stop being sarcastic !
I love your vids because all your recipes are either so creative or great easy options!! You guys have inspired me to cook/bake so thank you
I just love this channel along with your family one! You always listen to suggestions and take on board where you may have done something wrong like in a gadget video and in no time here's the follow up! Thankyou for caring 😀
mmmm can you imagine sticking a blueberry or a chocolate chunk down into each hole before flipping it over 😍 Barry you must try that and tell me if it works.
I´m thinking of chocolate, marshmallow and peanut butter in one waffle
omg yes !!
My friend suggested your channel, and this is the first video I've seen. I'm cracking up at your Handel jokes, and your daughter is adorable, and you have a PUG! *wiggles finger* SUBSCRIBE
hey thanks and welcome
Never heard of these until your gadget video. Looking forward to trying it. Loved the "Handel"!
You should try putting mochi in the balls and putting ice cream and Oreo on top after your done~~~ that's how I had it and it was AMAZING
haha hahaha! I deserve that. Love your videos. Handle, handle, handle... I will never spell that word wrong again. 😂
Hongkonger is here, and I got to say it's so cool you made it
awww yum!!! I love the way Barry describes food!!! Wish I had smellivision!! 😍
Loved the classical music part with the cheeky photo and text😏😂
I love this so much it's so funky ❤️ I also love the cone idea it's a great way for serving Barry 😄👏🍰
You should make matcha ones and use that new ice cream cylinder gadget to put ice cream in the cone. It'd be great~
You could also use whipped cream too
That's so awesome! I've not heard of that kind of waffle iron, I'm quite intrigued. :)
The Handel's 'Messiah' joke is the best thing you've ever done Barry.
Ik this is an old video but this is the first time seeing a video by you and I can't help but laugh the whole time. Great video funny and so far family friendly so I can watch with my little brother and sister
I had something like this at a German Christmas market, so good
hey Barry, i love your channel and watching you make all the yummy foods. the chocolate orange cake your wife makes and the giant foods looked tasty. keep up the good work!
Love love love this. Going to buy one and try it out. Keep up the videos, they give me great ideas because I'm so uncreative with food.
Also, I can't believe how many people commented in such an aggressive way and were proven wrong aha. So satisfying
Pug shots are quickly becoming my favourite thing
This sounds yummy! Mike and Liz probably approve.
I still cry when I see the scratches you make on your workspace with the pan!
Could you make a savoury version of it? that would be interesting
really like that idea Victoria
@@mrbarrylewis or even crack some eggs, beat them up, and cook them in that pan
You should make a large ice cream cone, or cream puffs with that kitchen gadget. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
bubble waffles in HK have stuffing inside like red bean paste, chocolate, black sesame paste or condensed milk LOTS flavor
We have this sold in Singapore and its has a slight crisp to its softness. Chocolate flavours are the best :D
+x3Annie.Y sounds awesome
Had to pause at the 'classical interlude' - couldn't stop laughing! Hahah. HANDAL! HANDEL! ;) You even mentioned you'd put them on incorrectly & the fact people had to then go on to tell you that again.. oh my lol.
Mhmm this looks so good! With a really nice bit of ice cream & some strawberries in summer. Yes!
loved the handel ahahahaha, love watching your channel sm xx
I love your videos but I really wish they were longer 😭😂❤️
they will be soon back to 'real time' format once the builders have left and I have the new studio, not long now :-)
Love how people are so eager to call you out on your mistake that they don't bother to check their spelling, grammar, etc. 🙄
Your reply was perfect! 😂
Does this taste similar to a funnel cake? It looks like the same type of batter & I could just imagine sprinkling some powdered sugar on it while it while it's still warm 🤤.
kuhn rincon Swiss pull chop is and amazing gadget barry
Mmm looks so good! Recipe sounds great, too!
You should definitely make Takoyakis someday! They are so delicious!
Love from Germany Barry! I love your videos especially when I'm sick then your videos brighten up day! well and make me hungry 🙈
My Virgin Kitchen Waffle Restaurant confirmed first customer! :)
Hi! you should try to make 'poffertjes' with this pan it is dutch, they are like mini pancakes
Looks wonderful!!! You were playing a game on one of your other videos, What was it ? Looked like a lot of fun. Have tried many of your and wife recipes and really love them cant wait to get your book. Have a great day :)
Thanks Kathy
They look so tasty!
Today's "PUG shot" xD that actually is a very awsome wordplay for a classic :D
simply made my day :D
Just think it is 雞蛋仔 in Hong Kong...
Hong Kong people here!!🙋🏻🙋🏻🙋🏻🙋🏻
yes i love 雞蛋仔, but i live in Australia right now so they taste nothing as good as the ones in HK
香港揮手👍🏾
Lucia Wong I grew up in Hong Kong till 10, now I live in England
I'm going to try a gluten free version of these waffles. Recipe sounds delicious!
Tasting the treats of Hong Kong in the comforts of your own home!
They do look delicious! I'll have to give them a try 😃 I would love to see you try your hand at making takoyaki (with an actual takoyaki pan of course! lol) They are so delicious! Just don't forget to top them with fish flakes, scallions and Japanese mayo, so so yummy!! ❤
I LOVE how you called those people out lol!! Do you think this is a gadget your going to keep? 😊
I live in the USA and I LOVE watching your videos! Normally I can figure out replacement ingredients for the things that we done have here... Except Golden Syrup, I went and found that cause nothing can replace that flavor. But, I can't figure out what Custard powder is! Help Please!
Lindsay Haralson Its instant vanilla pudding powder
This one BLEW me away... Ill show myself out
Hey Barry I love your channel so much especially the kitchen gadget vids and I live in Australia (Melbourne) Chloe is soooooo cute!!! Love your vids so much!! Pls reply!!
recently had wowfulls here in nyc which includes this waffle with ice-cream and toppings
Could you make an omelette on the bubble pan? 🤔
Seriously .
the nearest mall sells this bubble waffle too and it's served with filling in each bubble. you can choose cheese, chocochip, nutella, or peanut for the filling. perhaps you can recreate this recipe with filling in each bubble.
filling in the bubble?! mind blown
My Virgin Kitchen as I observed, the seller quickly put the filling one by one in each bubble after pouring in the batter then closed the pan. I've tried cheese and chocochip filling. the cheese is cut into very small pieces then put in each bubble while the chocochip is put one by one to each bubble.
you were right barry! sorry for telling you twice that it's a takoyaki iron 😰 would you consider doing a video on making takoyaki???
That looked like a darn good waffley thing! I wonder if you could use it with Yorkshire pudding batter and make little Yorkshire bites? :D
I've heard a lot of stuff about these waffles... I don't own a waffle maker but I think I might need to invest in one soon.
"You handle Handel like nobody handles Handel. And your Delius - delirious!"
I'm so glad you got it to work! I've heard these are really delicious. I wonder if you could use these as a takoyaki pan, just by using one half of the pan? Best wishes with your cooking, and thanks for the pug footage at the end! They are so cute. :-)
yes you def could, I aim to do one of those, maybe not with octopus though! But this would def work
From what I understand, they make all sorts of variations on takoyaki in Japan now. I'm sure you can find a good video! You can replace the octopus with shrimp, I think, or even go another way entirely, even though it isn't traditional. I think I even remember seeing a pizza version (?) in Tokyo on a video. Good luck if you decide to try it! :-)
hey Barry you should look up a thing called ''poffertjes''. its a dutch sort of pancakey thing that looks almost the same except for the whole waffle things inbetween.
Poffertjes are baked in pans with smaller holes. This makes them more dish-shaped instead of ball-shaped.
You can make more waffle gadgets testing ?
hope to depends what gadgets I find / get sent
They look so good
This looks absolutely delicious! I'm only doubtful about getting a pan that's only for one thing because like many other things it might end up on the stack in the basement. Is there anything else you could use this pan for? Maybe some weirdly shaped grilled cheese?
probably a tonne of things, I love the idea of doing meatballs in it!
Lmao, loved the pug shot today, I need to try this recipe out, thank for sharing!
Chloe is the cutest thing ever
I love this guy and his video's.
Just keep in mind you're probably criticizing a Dutch/Belgian person whose autocorrect turned handle into handel, hahaha.
Looks delicious I'll have to try
love your videos Barry - you know you put that handle on backwards to give us a laugh :D ;)
That's a great gadget! I'm surprised that it doesn't have a silicon rubber 'grommet' on one side, to seal the gap when both sides are closed, so none of that lovely batter can escape. I don't have a sweet tooth at all - could the recipe be modified to make, I don't know, cheese and chive ones, perhaps? Whatever, great content as always, Barry. Nice one.
You should put ice cream in the cone. It's REALLY good.
I bet that tastes real good
vanilla custardy
You also could fill the balls wiv cream or any other kind of filling that could be an idea ?
Not certain how I got here but you're hilarious. And where do you get custard powder?
There is a new shop in Soho that is called Bubble Wrap. they make these with tons of yummy fillings
+Erin Barkway really? That's so cool I'm gonna pop in therr
My Virgin Kitchen *there... not therr!! 😂😂
I love your channel ❤
quick question Barry: what is custard powder? is it like jell-o pudding mix?
Really like this recipe
I love eating these in hong kong....takoyaki equally tasty mmm
I imagine these could be made even more interesting by freezing a spherical filling (maybe cream cheese or little balls of nutella) and popping them into the middle of each little bubble after a layer of batter had been coated along the bottom. Pour the rest of the batter on top and tadaa! Stuffed bubble waffles~
hey there. can you make "cloud bread?" and maybe tweak it?
yes, it's coming up today :-)
was about to buy a bubble waffle a while ago and i have your kitchen gadget review in mind... now im at home and i see this. I'll definitely buy tomorrow barry. i can't Handel the craving hahahahahah
btw our local shop has chocolate flavor of the bubble waffle. might want to try it =)
Looks like a nice desserty snacky thing, just so long as when making coloured ones, they don't use blue colouring... :P
noodle special with eli please!
happening once I get the new studio - it'll be golden
Again with the really thick vanilla extract. Is that just a UK thing?? Also where the heck do I find custard powder in the US?? Looks so yummy!!
that's just a posh extract we have at the mo
Oh geesh. I feel like such a peasant with my thin vanilla extract 😛😜😁
'Evaporating milk' haha! It just disappears as you stir it in, eh?! ;)
Anything approved by Chloe has to be good :)
Pug Shot! :) They're so cute
they really would yeah
Being a Hong Kong Resident, my heart literally dropped when you bit into the waffle... 💔 Traditionally, we just tear off each ball and eat it individually :)
thanks for the info
I thought he would get a syringe or something and squeeze nuttella and other syrupy things inside the bubbles. That would be cool and not crazy difficult tbh.
It's interesting how you said Takoyaki. You pronounced it right I think, but the way you slowed it down was interesting.
there any reason why you cant take a couple wrenches to the bolt on the two slabs of metal and actually use it for takoyaki? wouldnt mind a two for one gadget
It's not deep enough. Your takoyaki will end up being really flat. It'll probably work as a good aebleskiver pan though.
loving the pug shots
i think you meant evaporated milk, not evaporating milk
Two quick questions. Could I swap the custard powder out for coco powder? And also, can I use this waffle pan on an electric induction cooker?
I'm not sure if it works on induction sorry, but yes absolutely about the cocoa powder
My Virgin Kitchen if a magnet sticks to it then you can use it on an induction burner.
I love the pug shots
