I hate the rattle and loudness of old diesels but I'd have to pick the DCi. I have a 1.2 Clio and I know people who have the same engine and we all have the same issue, oily engine. The engine is not dripping oil but it's always oily and no one seems to know why, the engine works with no problems otherwise. Plus I think 1.5 diesel will outlive 1.2 petrol.

I'm with the 1.5 DCi 82hp version on performance but this one is great on the simplicity of the engine.
