My birthday trip to TOFINO // hot springs cove + remote kayaking in Clayoquot Sound (I saw a whale!)

- On this trip I visited Hot Springs Cove, went on a remote kayaking tour in the heart of Clayoquot Sound, and stayed at an airbnb that is just steps from Chesterman Beach. A pretty epic way to spend a birthday, if you ask me. Tofino is one of my favourite places on Vancouver Island!
My birthday gift to myself this year is a new telephoto lens for my camera to use for wildlife photography/videos. In this video I test out my new Canon RF 100-500mm lens on the Canon R5 mirrorless camera. We saw a few eagles, a sea lion, and a grey whale! I'm excited to keep practising with this new lens and share the content with you! (all my camera gear is inked below if you're curious)

Hi, I like both styles, in this one you communicate more and in the other ones you show more landscapes, perhaps keeping a mix of those 2 styles, blessings.
I watched your first video and now I'm watching the last video. I would have never believed it possible to walk into such beautiful country or chopper in and enjoy the sun rises and the sun sets. I'm a Backcountry camper mostly limited to forests because of my location and ease of accessibility. I love camping in the mountains in nearby States. I have to get my passport.and adventure over to BC for some backpacking and camping . What level of comfort did you have leaving that big zoom lens when you actually went in the springs? I'm afraid of leaving it in my backpack and someone taking it.
I left most of my camera gear in the boat with our captain. I wasn’t comfortable taking all of it with me
