About your video, I would have a question do you use chat GPT with your daily software developer tasks? If yes could you tell how much or maybe you plan to use it. Also an idea, would you be interested in making some videos about using GPT with php?
Hey, I do use chatGPT but not daily. I would say a few times a week. It's useful for tedious tasks like generating boilerplate, explaining legacy or complex code. I've been using it for frontend a lot cause I'm not that good with JavaScript & it has been pretty good.
I plan on making more videos with AI + PHP

I don't think salaries are inflated, at least not in my field

Respectfully disagree. I dont know where its inflated but in my area & on my role its definitely not inflated. If anything I think we are underpaid. Note that healthcare is expensive here with up to $1000/month paid for health insurance for a family of 4. Add in the rent/mortgage of about $2-3k a month and thats your $4k a month just in housing & healthcare.

Yup, we agree on that :). You'll be surprised that even after paying that much for health insurance you still have to pay copays, deductibles, etc every time you visit a doctor. Thankfully now my job offers a good insurance so I dont have to pay $1000/mo but thats what I was paying not long ago.
I must say I'm afraid of this and I don't like it at all. The 2nd thing I'm confused in which way to continue with the development? This make a huge gap between us and the nature. We are becoming like lazy dogs. Give me the food and nothing more. Hey GPT give me the app for e-commerce, a part of Python code, JS UI,... It looks like we are going to the direction of Matrix and Terminator. Remember that almost all invention in human history is used in vary bad purposes. Starting from the industry revolution, over atomic energy, then computer science, nano tech, and finally the most scaring AI. Thumb down. Not for you but for the technology without normal supervisors and control.
Yea I sort of agree but I think that we should just adopt and get used to it. Seems like that's the direction we're headed so gotta use it to our advantage. Currently it can't really make a fully functioning e-commerce site for example, it will probably give you some bad code that might work but will be hard to maintain.
