I have watched several videos about the TAVR. This is easiest video to understand. Everyone that is needing TAVR needs to watch this. Thank you for this video
I just had it done and if I could say is in preparation...get in as good of shape as you can. If you have any issues with your kidneys...have them looked at in preparation as well. Watch your blood pressure and walk as much as you can after...its a great thing.
I may be having this done soon. Hope so and not open chest replacement. What was your recovery time right away or several days later. Glad your doing well.
my significant other has had quadruple & now must have the TAVR procedure due to calcium build up. I watched the video and it appears to be a better procedure than cracking his ribs again. He is not nervous, but I am. I'm already a widow after 30 yrs of marriage. Our family has been friends with my significant other for 30 years, as well. I hope my prayers and an excellent surgeon keep him alive & well for many more years.
many thanks and well done, very well explained, my aortic valve needs replacement due to calcium build up and this is one of the option I discussed with my consultant today
Thsnk you for the great information ! It was very informative! I am facing open heart surgery. I’m hoping what I learned will help me avoid open heart surgery!!
Thanks for a very interesting video. A good friend just had to have this procedure done. I had the open heart procedure about 10 years ago. The recent visit to my doctor told me about this procedure. Now if and when my aortic valve becomes bad they could do this procedure. However, he told me the valve that was put in back about 10 years ago is still performing really well.
Not sure what type of procedure I'm going to have. But I'm at ease now. Things are in motion ; I start testing this month Feb 2021. Thank you for this video.
Many thanks for your very helpful, clever video ! Brilliantly simple to follow even for people like myself not having medical degrees. I watched your presentation with alert interest because having aortic stenosis with a valve narrowed down to one squere cm.

Is that a mechanical valve or a bio valve

How are you doing now?
VERY GOOD IMFORMATION
Will chelation therapy remove the calcium and repair the valve?
What a great question! I’m going to call a local doctor that does chelation and ask her about it! Thank you.
What is advantage of TAVR rather than RAVR? Female patient, age 68, asymptomatic for the most part (no shortness of breath, only some milk fatigue).
Is a sentinel device used to catch the debris from the calcified aortic valve and prevent emboli to the brain?
Hi Dr. After TAVR what excercise we have to do and tablets have to be taken lifelong
I am expecting possibly to have this done in 2025 .
does eating calcium tablets affect the calcification of the aortic valve?
Surgery on the 17 of July this year 2020 aortic stenosis but this lady I would make love ❤️ to forever ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
You need to rethink this presentation.
why? may I ask! Anything I missed that you spotted?
