- The reason there aren't as many waterslides in this video is due to a couple reasons: 1. a lot of the slides had insane lines 2. we went on July 4 weekend and had to leave the park really early to avoid traffic 3. the park has a strict no camera policy. That being said, I tried to film all the slides I went on and get good footage for you guys. Cliff Diver, Riptide Racer & Bombs Away slides all told me to either hold my camera or put it away, and it was tough to film so I couldn't include it so sorry. Anyways, hope you guys enjoyed.

So they let you film, but you have to hold it, right? Did you need permission?
I wouldn't say they let me film. Some of the lifeguards cared less about it than others but there is a strict no-camera policy that some enforced but others didn't.

if you opened in 2020 you would have opened in may 2020 and closed in september 2020 and you would have been open from may 2020 to september 2020.hopefully you will open in may 2021 or later in 2021.

This is a very big waterpark and definitely one I'd like to visit someday. But unlike Raging Waters near LA and Water World near Denver, what's this waterpark located near? This could be a problem as I'd need a reason to be in the area in the first place (and also a close airport or train station to arrive in).
It’s in Suffolk County on Long Island, several hours east of NYC. You’d take the LIRR to Ronkonkoma, and then there’s a shuttle bus to the park. I think most people who go to there live on Long Island, though. I have so many fun childhood memories of the park.
Honestly there’s not much to do in the area besides the water park, I believe there’s an arcade near by, but the last time I went to Splish Splash was 10 years ago, so a lot could’ve changed

Mitchell Ries from nyc it’s about 3:30 hours with traffic you’re looking more towards 5 hours
@@mitchellries256 In my trip, the ride from where I live in NYC to Splish Splash was just under 2 hours, not too bad of a trip, especially considering the trip is just getting on I-495 all the way to the end.

I think they redid it thats why cuz i went way back in 2013 and it was yellow back then.
