I would’ve cried just like the blond girl, well heck I’m in tears now. You could see it touched her on such a deep level as he pulled her up on stage. Nick Cave is that hero that saves lives in the late night and the hero you’d like to hug just like he’d hugged her! Forever a Bad Seeds fan ❤️
I‘m in tears...he did something wonderful when he brought the blonde girl to him....you can see that it touched her on a much deeper level than the others.
Maybe she needed it more than the others. She’s probably done her share of pushing already. Hope she got everything she came for. Would love to hear her talk about this experience.
Oh, that's true. I saw this performance live, and just seeing her cry on stage made me cry too. I always wondered how she is now, how she was feeling at the moment while being on stage next to Mr. Cave. This song is extremely powerful and impactful. Every time I listen to it, it drives me to tears.
You can see the others on stage, particularly the girl in her bra and undies (accompanied with a silky robe) seemed to be at ease and confident, which is all cool, but the lovely blonde girl stood out in the crowd as someone slightly shell shocked ... she wasn't "waving her hands in the air like she just don't care!" She was in comparison to the surrounding audience like a deer in headlights and I think Nick noticed this and as Sarah Potter wrote (2 years ago!) he did something wonderful and made sure that she was comfortable by bringing her up to the higher stage at the end to join the other crowd instead of just leaving her ... beautiful!
@@cubeb3 Thank you for being so tender. Although the question was asked 3 years ago, I figured I could answer you. Overall I felt very awkward on stage and at first highly regretted getting up there - because the concert had been mind-blowing and very emotional, so I didn’t really dig the hype of grand public exposure. But then I decided, well, fuck it, I’ll just sit here and internalise everything until it’s over. But no, they started playing Push the Sky Away and I could feel the tears rise. So I cried a little. That’s okay, it’s legal to cry. Well, and some minutes later I wished I could hold him like that forever. I’m ever grateful to Nick Cave for being a friend that day.

We should all take a moment to appreciate that Nick Cave never started a crazy messianic cult, because let's face it, he easily could.
Oh but on the contrary my dear fellow.

Keep on pushing girl. ❤️
Nick is just a monument, a bloody legend
This is the most relaxed most connected with the audience version of push the sky away i've seen . Wonderful
Nick is the greatest living artist on earth. Such a man losing 2 sons,it is not fair.
Oh, my heart is melting! And that blonde girl...so blessed.
He's such a hero! He gave her the evening of her life! She looks totally in shock. 😍

22.08.2018? Nick Cave live in the future? WOW!
ezkins what a sense of humor. Instead of giving a sarcastic comment you could simply tell me about this mistake.
We have a mentality different. It was just a joke. Sorry if you touch your feelings. Have a nice day! :)

Incrível, but I don't know why push the sky away because the sky is so beautiful
Sometimes life is so overwhelming it feels like the sky is falling crushing you... push it away.😉
