This reminds me of travelling from Somerset to Stroud to look at a Volvo V50 with my wife. Looked good on Ebay , but on arrival we quickly realised the nice leather seats had lots of paint spots on them, the alloys were bashed about and needed a refurb and the "Full Service History" had a most recent service stamp dated 2-3 years old. Not what you expect from a proper Volvo owner ( wife is a previous Volvo owner). We didn't bother to even drive it. We will be more careful in future before taking on a long journey.
That sounds like an unpleasant waste of time... It is funny how variable someone's interpretation of things like Full Service History can be, can't it? Definitely not a typical Volvo owner...
I'm always struck by how vehicles can look so much better in photographs than in real life. Even before all of today's filtering wizardry. Thank you for these insights, sir!
Thanks for good and cautionary advice. V5: I shall remember that.
very nice leather interior

As always buyer beware. I’ve bought a few duds in my time though.
Yes sir, unfortunately I don't think that this is the last time we will be revisiting this topic, either...
Interesting Joseph tales from the dark side of the motor trade best regards Andy Allen.
Sir, I think that we have a few more where these came from! Thank you again for watching.

There's always more of these stories, sir! There's no substitute for seeing a car in real life, is there?
