The joy of Landies. Want to bleed the brakes on a 109? you could end up having to replace the entire braking system like I did. Want to weld the rear A frame on a 90? - need to replace tub floor, top hats, cross supports, suspension bushes, top link knuckle, both calipers, rear brake lines, axle case, spring mounts, spring, shocks, aux fuel pump, fuel tank, fuel line, wiring for fuel tank and pump. Oh, and more welding than you thought. Old Land Rovers are just massive, expensive problems on wheels. Don't buy one unless you're wealthy and enjoy throwing lots and lots of money at them.
