Thank you so much for posting this! My mom is in a wheelchair, and even though I did a lot of research before our trip last year, it was really hard to know what to expect because the loading process wasn't adequately visualized for a lot of rides, even on RUclips. This video is absolutely wonderful! My mom missed the Carousel, and now I can take her. Thanks guys!
You are so welcome! This is one of the reasons why we started this channel. There was not a lot of solid information on what we can and can’t do. We love bringing and showing information that helps everyone enjoy the parks. -A
At least I now realize why omnimover rides are brought to a screeching halt, despite causing certain guests to feel a little restless due to being stranded in the middle of a show scene, because I pretty much felt that way having to deal with those situations as a kid. When I dealt with that during my ride on Haunted Mansion on a trip I took last year, I noticed an electric scooter parked outside after I finally disembarked, which may have served as an obvious hint.
you two have no idea of how much your videos are helping me and my fiance to plan our disney trip. She has a disability and we were lost about how much the rides would be accessible. Thank you SO MUCH! ❤ Sending lots of love from Brazil 🇧🇷
You’re welcome, in the beginning it was very rough for us, and there was not a lot of info on what we can and cannot do. That is why we started the channel to give others the inspiration to go to Disney World and do all they can do. -A
Can't tell you HOW MUCH of a blessing your videos have been to our family. My wife and I discovered your channel yesterday. This will be our first trip to Disney since my wife's disability is making it hard for her to do get out and experience the things we enjoy.
In the beginning, it is very hard as there were not a lot of videos out there for us. We started this channel so we could help and show other people that it is possible to travel to Disney go on cruises and more. We have been to all of the parks and Brooke and I each other favorite one. Also do not forget to sign up for DAS. I know it is a little harder to get approved now that Disney has changed the requirements for it. -A
Thank you! These videos are awesome. My mom had a stroke this year, and can’t walk far, or stand for long time periods. But, she’s cleared to travel, and we don’t want her to miss this experience with her grandkids. So new to figuring out how to navigate what she can do in a scooter there, so these videos are very helpful!!
You are so welcome! Disney is very scooter friendly and the lines that don't allow scooters will have wheelchairs you can borrow to push her. I hope you have any amazing trip!
Thank you!!! When we posted it this morning it was super dark -- I'm guessing this is some kind of RUclipsr right-of-passage but we (mostly Brooke) had quite the panic. Fortunately I realized it was an export setting, so I was able to re-upload. It stinks that RUclips won't let you replace a vide with another. Your encouragement means a lot to us. Thank you!
Yeah. It seems like Disney relies heavily on bloggers to promote the details of the park experience, but that leaves a hole for people with disabilities or other special needs.
Thank you so much! I can’t tell you how happy this made me. I thought my days of riding most rides were done because of my strength issues getting up out of a seated position or just plain fear of asking for accommodations. I am once again excited to ride some rides!!!❤
Honestly can’t emphasise enough how much I value your videos 😊 I’ll be heading back in October and I’m so happy I can ride the railroad it brings back such happy family memories xx thank you again xx
Awe that's fantastic! And you will be there when the fall & halloween decorations are out! You know, we haven't actually been there for that yet. I'm trying to convince Aadam we need to go down for MNSSHP.
THANK YOU SO MUCH For making this video! We're bringing my mother in law with us, and we will be new at navigating accessibility in public! Your video is easing A LOT of my nerves and stress, thank you thank you!!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks we had fun making this. Once you study the tricks it will help you be less stressed. MK is the best(according to Brooke) 😅 we try to show everyone can have fun. -A
Magic Kingdom is the best for a first time trip. You will need to plan out your day so you can get the most out of it. I would suggest going during the morning half, take a break in the afternoon and then going back for fireworks in the evening. You will need to stake out your spot at least 45 minutes to an hour before the fireworks.
This is very informative. Thank you very much. I'm planning a trip to magic kingdom soon with my sister, who has CP and is in a wheelchair. Much appreciated ❤
You are most welcome, sometimes finding the right information is a little hard on RUclips. Especially info on wheelchair rides and such. You guys will have a blast. -A
You are so welcome, I would recommend riding it several times. Looking for “hidden “ stuff is cool. When we head back, I will look again, you also face backward. I don’t recall if the other seat flipped up or not. -Aadam
I have to thank you both so much for making this video. It gives me so much hope to be able to do things with my family if we get to Disney World next year. I love Disney and was hoping to go but in the back of my mind I didn't think I'd be able to get on any of the rides anymore. I had a below the knee amputation and now I use a wheelchair and seeing you being able to get on these rides make me feel a million times better about making an attempt to go. ♥
Disney has made it very Wheelchair friendly for a lot of the rides. Both with WAV (wheelchair access vehicle) and vehicles where you can take your time getting on. As long as you take your time and plan out, you will have a great time.-A
Love watching these videos! It’s so difficult finding wholesome Disney accessibility info on RUclips. Keep up the amazing work! Us wheelchair users appreciate y’all!!
My spouse and I just stumbled onto your channel tonight and watched a couple videos together. Spouse asked me to send a video link so they could subscribe from their account, and I’m up with insomnia binge watching and have subscribed from mine. Thanks for bringing some magic our way!
I know what you mean, sometimes when I find a new channel, I may spend 4 to 5 hours watching their videos. Lol we do thank you for the sub, we do this so others can see what is possible.-A
Magic Kingdom is the Most iconic park of all of the Walt Disney World parks. There’s something about it that people just love. Riding the rides and staying for the fireworks is a must do when visiting them. -A
WOW! My child went on her make-a-wish trip last year. We missed so many rides because we did not know they were accessible. We thought we had to transfer her to the ride seat and leave wheelchair behind.
Thank you for this video! It has been the best one that I have viewed on RUclips. My husband has recovered from a stroke and will walk on his own. However, he struggles with stepping down and pulling himself back up. How will he ride attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean? Rockin Rollercoaster? Rides that you have to step down into and pull yourself up? Thanks for the help.
We really appreciate your video, showing us the wheelchair rides in Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios. We are travelling to WDW soon and my husband has a mobility issue and has to use a scooter. He feels 100% better after watching your videos, and seeing, he will be able to enjoy so many rides without a big problem. We want to do the railroad and seeing that my husband can stay in his scooter was terrific. What station did you have to go to to access that car?
Thank you so much for the kind words. We are so happy we can help you feel prepared for your trip! At Disney world, all of the stations are wheelchair accessible. Now, you might not be able to keep a scooter on the train, but they will have a wheelchair you can borrow to get on. That or you can rent a chair like the one Aadam uses. Being in a chair lets you avoid some of the transfers that are required if you use a scooter.
Space Ranger Spin is also a pretty tight fit for service dogs larger than a cocker spaniel. Same with Haunted Mansion. It gets tight in those little omnimovers that clip up and over.
Rise of the resistance you go through the queue just like everyone else. The only thing that I have noticed is that I am always sit in the front of the trackless vehicle as the door pops open for easier getting in and out. ruclips.net/video/-RAMu0gaRj0/видео.htmlsi=P-HcOMy2tEz01Exv 8:15. Min mark.
Unfortunately, they are not . They will ask you if you were able to transfer and let you know which. I know with small world I believe they have you transferred to a manual chair. They will not let you take a scooter onto the ride vehicle. All of the years we have been going. I do not believe I have ever seen a scooter on any Disney ride. -A
Did Brooke have to get an extra pass to ride as well? Or did you both regularly wait in line? We’re going with 7 total 1 in a chair. Obviously we’d like to ride together
Aadam does qualify for the DAS and it allows for 5 people plus the DAS user. You’ll need to talk to guest services to see if they will allow an extra person. Be very nice to the cast members and they have a lot of discretion here. When we go in a group of four, Brooke always rides with Aadam and the other two are usually in the car right behind them.
Can I ask a question? im planning on going with 2 friends and I use a scooter, does this mean most of the rides only require one person to ride with me or could they accommodate two. If so, id just ride alone its no big deal im just wondering. if this is the case, would it be okay for my friends to still come with me to the wheelchair specialised area.
In this video when we say that one person can accompany the user, we are talking about the individual ride car - there is only one space next to the wheelchair. When we have more people with us, they still wait in line with us and get in the next car. If you are using a scooter, you won’t be riding onto rides - other than jungle cruise. You will park your scooter and then walk a bit to the ride. You can still ask for the TAV if you think the wider door will make it easier for you to get into the ride car.
@@Imaginary.Lemons Thankyou so much for your reply, so just to be clear because this is my first time going, do I park my ECV before I get into the DAS pass queue or will an attendant let me know when to get out and return it to me. Thankyou so so much

I think on haunted mansion they lean into it a bit and try to make it seem a little scary for the effect. 🤣🤣🤣
