No one got physically hurt but they denied future visitors the chance to ever see some of those paintings in person . For some real art lovers that would be really aggravating
Inside Edition remembers me from that viral Kim Kardashian robbery in Paris ! They had me on ad expert to explain the robbery . Bobby Comfort was a good guy he knew and respected my father Billy my guy did tine with Bobby and his brother Charlie they were from Upstate NY . He was supposed to make a movie about all this long ago and they stiffed his wife & family. Unfortunately this happens a lot and we buy and bought stolen jewlery for over 50 years in NYC for the mob and LCN for years. I wound up doing 21 years in a broken system and I should have been called on this episode to talk about this and can't understand why I wasnt ?
Some of it was confusing ... how do they explain how much jewelry and goods in terms of monetary value was stolen if not everybody came forward about what others was taken ... ? So this got me confused
Do you have trouble listening? They said there was a ton of staff and more security on NYE/New Years day. Not to mention JAN 1, 1972 WAS A SATURDAY. So not only did they pick the day with the least amount of staff, people were likely partying ALL WEEKEND. NYE was Friday, New Year’s Day, Saturday. Understand now?
Legit thought Simone was Jerry Stiller haha
Same . I was going to the comments to see if anyone else thought so
What a bizarre robbery but bravo to them for making sure no one got hurt. It reminds me of the boston museum robbery

1:55 Why would January 1st be a bad day? That would be the ideal day after everyone is hungover and tired. Dec. 31st would not be ideal...
