It seems like kind of everyone caught a cold on the last day, but at least it was quite fast for my men and me - all of us were knocked out for 2 days, before and after that we were completely fine. 72 hours ago I laid in bed with quite high fever and heavy chills under 5 thick bed sheets, today not even a sore throat anymore, so it might get heavy for you, but it hopefully won't last long. We tested every day for covid since the very first signs like mildly cough and some ear pain the day before it got really bad, all tests were negative, but we'll still continue that for the next 3 days - you never know. It's about 1 am here in germany and I'm quite tired, so I'll go to sleep for now, hope you get better soon! Make yourself a hot lemon (is that a thing outside of Germany? You basically take the juice of a lemon, 200 ml warm water (not more than 52° Celsius, otherwise the Vit C gets destroyed too much) and add honey to taste, it helps with cough and the throat, boosts the immune system and is antimicrobial due to the honey, if you feel spicy you can add a little fresh ginger but that might feel worse than expected, if everything is sore and irritated it can burn quite a lot :/)

I believe that if the game has bugged and softlocked you, its only fair to use dev console. The game has caused the issue so it needs to fix it. A fair thing to do could be to look at the wiki and if there is a reported bug, you are allowed to use the dev console. This will also promote a single place for all bugs to be stored.
Between losing items from second victory lap and rerolling: "We lost vanishing twin at least" *still has Vanishing Twin. After rerolling: "We got Vanishing Twin back" *does not have Vanishing Twin.
Had the greatest eden run yesterday, started with polyphemus and the red key and first ultra secret room had the sword in it ended up with 190 damage by the end of it
I disagree, Athame was the item that was hit the hardest by a nerf. It have gone from being an OP item to become one of the worse item in the game. With how much harder Repentance is, more than never before you don't want to take unnecessary damage, and when damage is inevitable, it's still not really a good idea to use Athame because with the repentance new invincibility frame it's only increasing the chance of taking more damage.
@lego You're right, but I was talking about Athame by itself. If we include synergies, then really few items are bad, even Cursed eye, Tiny Planet and Isaac's heart for example all have good synergies, even though all three items are considered bad by most peoples.
I'm really curious what pump they had in there. Any standard D5 or DDC ought to be able to handle multiple radiators, and that's not uncommon at all. Radiators are fairly low resistance to flow, compared to the blocks on a CPU or GPU. I have a D5 running three waterblocks and three radiators, and it's a little borderline on this system, but it would be more than ample on anything smaller.
Was looking for a comment specially for the same reason. Any DDC but even more so if its a D5 is supposed to be able to handle 2 rads. And Origin pcs doesn't usually slack on components. Ultimately i say you've been had by the repair guy.. Dual pump is used to redundancy reasons only, in case one pump dies the other picks up the slack so u wont have downtime. But that's just me ranting with 2x 420 rads.. Imagine running 4 pumps on 4 rad systems...

I’m living local now, like 50 mins from the stadium (though from upstate NY) and I’ve been to games before and it’s usually super packed and takes forever to get in and out. But that game was so hyped up, and super packed because of the occasion, so you picked like the worst game to go to in terms of getting in and out haha.

Worst nerf of Repentance I’d say is Brimstone, it got its damage reduced by nearly half, and got removed from the Leviathan item set, making it not count towards any transformations. Very noticeable nerfs for the damage.
I think that fool card with tarot cloth should activate a random other teleport card such as moon, emperor or stars if used in the start room, just something i thought of bc it has no interaction with tarot cloth
As a born and bred New Englander and forever Patriots and Tom Brady fan, that was one of my favorite games all time. I was happy with either outcome but really wanted the kick to go in at the end. One of the best kicks of all time in terrible conditions if it went through. I'm jealous you got to see it in person. Battling the rain afterwards is the price you pay to witness history like that.

Sinvicta if you have such a problem with the external item information, disble the options you want using the Mod Config Menu mod, you can make it not identify tarot cards, pills etc on stores, or in general.
A mod (I believe is called One Time Use Item Timers by McJimbles) just came out recently that makes you have to hold down the space bar to use certain active items such as plan C and it's configurable with setting what items you have to hold down the button to use and for how long. Maybe you could get in contact with the mod developer and ask if he can add specific consumables aswell such as Soul of Eden.
That was top tier Repentance! Glad you got the main Isaac machine back, but I definitely enjoyed the variety of the tainted runs as well. Also Big Rip to Ol' Beastie
I'm fairly certain genesis is taking into account all the items you got in both laps and the first win. What I mean is when you win with 20 items and start the next victory lap with 15 items, even though those 15 are from the previous 20, Genesis will count it as 35 (20+15) items in total.

Early game, guppy's tail will handicap a run. Late game after your economy has been established, guppy's tail is ok, especially if it gets you the guppy transformation.

Its not an item that sinvicta uses all that much, so it requires him to actively think about utilizing it. Its no different than any other item he forgets to use properly in the moment. He has a lot to keep track of including his commentary. Cut him some slack
The mod up until you took Bad PHD didn't identify pills, Sin. It always said "Unidentified Pill" until you take PHD or bad PHD- once you take an item that can identify pills, the mod will identify them for you. It's still a BIT cheaty because you then don't waste coins or bombs getting to pills you don't actually want, but usually the mod doesn't identify them.

Well, in the Northeast, if we say 60 in october, that's usually the hottest part of the day. I thoroughly enjoy the colder weather, but even for me a 30 degree temperature shock can be a bit much. But yea, october in new england is (usually) pretty much winter for texas.
I notice that the primary cause of crashes in repentance are an excess of light effects on screen. Large amounts of lightning effects (Jacob’s ladder, deacon beams), large amounts of Trisagion. Seems to have a theme. Edit: These seem to just be especially bad culprits. As evidenced by the crashes without Jacob’s Ladder or deacons, other stuff can also make the game do enough calculations to crash. Triple split shot (not three splitting shots, three items that all give split shot stacked) seems to be good at this as well.
I honestly enjoyed the tainted characters but I am glad to be back with Eden. I just love the consistency it kinda helps me sleep. Tough I do like the idea of tainted Tuesday! Or Thursday witch ever one sounds better. As long as its kinda consistent so my brain doesn't get confused and not fall asleep. But honestly do what ever you want sin ^^

In regards to nerfs, I feel like serpants kiss got a massive nerf. It used to be a super top tier item now it is only slightly better than the virus. In fact there are some places where I would take the virus over serpents kiss which would never be the case before
The temp different is wild here in MA. 80 one day then 55 the next. Also dosnt matter how many rads you have on the pump the problem is most likely that the fins on the copper block had clogged. It happened to me and burnt out mine that's why I will never use a aio again air cooling is far superior as it also makes less noise and can't Break over time.

two radiators gives you more surface area to exchange heat with the outside air. IDK how much that would effect the life span of a pump as the configuration of those radiators makes more of a difference than the amount of radiators. its not impossible that the additional radiator added some resistance to the system. though. its probably more likely that the position of them caused the pump to run dry or encounter air bubbles. "most" radiators I have seen have water channels with a larger cross section than the pipes that feed them resulting in a drop of pressure. on another note. if TM Trainer etc were not as buggy, we would not have got to witness one of the best beast kills I have seen yet.
Sinvicta the Ultra Secret Room is 1 redroom off a special room and 1 redroom off a normal room. It must have both and if I am wrong someone should correct me.

It's nice to have the daily episodes to come to. It really help when everything else feels so chaotic
The reason why Genesis gave you so many items: TMTRAINER breaks the Genesis item count, making so you can get pretty much infinite items.

I'm fairly certain genesis is taking into account all the items you got in both laps and the first win. What I mean is when you win with 20 items and start the next victory lap with 15 items, even though those 15 are from the previous 20, Genesis will count it as 35 (20+15) items in total.

Early game, guppy's tail will handicap a run. Late game after your economy has been established, guppy's tail is ok, especially if it gets you the guppy transformation.

Its not an item that sinvicta uses all that much, so it requires him to actively think about utilizing it. Its no different than any other item he forgets to use properly in the moment. He has a lot to keep track of including his commentary. Cut him some slack

The mod up until you took Bad PHD didn't identify pills, Sin. It always said "Unidentified Pill" until you take PHD or bad PHD- once you take an item that can identify pills, the mod will identify them for you. It's still a BIT cheaty because you then don't waste coins or bombs getting to pills you don't actually want, but usually the mod doesn't identify them.

I got the vanishing twin bug awhile back as well, confused the hell out of me.
D1 + soul of isaac is basicaly a superior D6 in every way, less cooldown, stackable (you can just leave them on the floor and take up to 2 down to the next floor) and you can come back to the original item in case of a bad reroll thanks to the soul of isaac mechanic

I notice that the primary cause of crashes in repentance are an excess of light effects on screen. Large amounts of lightning effects (Jacob’s ladder, deacon beams), large amounts of Trisagion. Seems to have a theme.
Edit: These seem to just be especially bad culprits. As evidenced by the crashes without Jacob’s Ladder or deacons, other stuff can also make the game do enough calculations to crash. Triple split shot (not three splitting shots, three items that all give split shot stacked) seems to be good at this as well.
I honestly enjoyed the tainted characters but I am glad to be back with Eden. I just love the consistency it kinda helps me sleep.
Tough I do like the idea of tainted Tuesday! Or Thursday witch ever one sounds better. As long as its kinda consistent so my brain doesn't get confused and not fall asleep. But honestly do what ever you want sin ^^

In regards to nerfs, I feel like serpants kiss got a massive nerf. It used to be a super top tier item now it is only slightly better than the virus. In fact there are some places where I would take the virus over serpents kiss which would never be the case before
The temp different is wild here in MA. 80 one day then 55 the next. Also dosnt matter how many rads you have on the pump the problem is most likely that the fins on the copper block had clogged. It happened to me and burnt out mine that's why I will never use a aio again air cooling is far superior as it also makes less noise and can't Break over time.

two radiators gives you more surface area to exchange heat with the outside air. IDK how much that would effect the life span of a pump as the configuration of those radiators makes more of a difference than the amount of radiators. its not impossible that the additional radiator added some resistance to the system. though. its probably more likely that the position of them caused the pump to run dry or encounter air bubbles. "most" radiators I have seen have water channels with a larger cross section than the pipes that feed them resulting in a drop of pressure.
on another note. if TM Trainer etc were not as buggy, we would not have got to witness one of the best beast kills I have seen yet.
