We used to camp on Goold, Garden and Macushla. The broadwalk to Ramsay bay was special and rewarded with a swim in the ocean. Then we went back and did more barra and Jack fishing. Crab pots went well too. Those mountain ranges from Macushla beach were spectacular to view every morning. Merry Christmas and a new year filled with subscribers. Hope you bend a few rods. Looks like the wet is on its way. 🎄🎄🎁🎣🐟
Ah thanks very much mate thanks for tuning in champion 👍🏻 beautiful islands mate for sure haven’t even scratched the surface exploring the great HinchinBrook brook yet. My partners family tell me story’s of the days they use to camp on Gooled, Garden seems to be the place for it. some of the beaches and places are just spectacular 🙌🏻 thanks very much for your kind words Chris and merry Christmas and hope you manage to bend a few sticks your self 🎄
Hey mate, 5” Zman in the sexy penny colour can get very sim colour called sexy mullet. I’ll use a colour that matches water clarity, I prefer to run that size bait if I want a 3.5” I’d cut approx an inch of the nose specially if the fish are little timid into eating it normally gets the eat. And yeah ball sinker tied into the loop not 🤙🏻
I agree that Hinchinbrook is a beautiful place unlike the marina which is a joke. It's a pity your council doesn't see the value in spending some money dredging it for tourism
@@RING077 yep there’s allot of water in between fish that’s for sure. And yeah well there dredging work commencing just after crissy, think 990tons worth not real sure how much that’ll remove but probably just the channel. I’m sure the ramp will be a busy place again
