To be honest it would be better for grendmaster Jiang Yu Shan to train women... I swear I have no clue why grandmaster was training you🤦🏻♀️ He must be very good person if he tryed to implement some knowledge in that empty heads.. did you even listen to grandmaster what he was talking about or you puting knowledge in one ear and taking out another... Oh God🙄 give me patience🧘🏻♀️ Go and take photo of your empty head ... Then start proper learning from grandmaster ....🙄 Yes yes someone have to spill the truth ... fitness trainer from seven heaven🙄 kung fu is not about taking photos ... You really working on my nerves🙄 Honestly i was standing and watching and i feel sorry for grandmaster one is doing rain dance another playing photo model .. shit🤦🏻♀️ I never saw more usless people in my entire life....but do not fear if you keep fallowing grandmaster you maybe just maybe will be able to be in 1/4 like him...🤔 Just keep going usless twats... You got this👌 The most what makes me laugh you all so stupid you even did not realise who grandmaster really is .... And you talking about roots.. Listen you idiots cos i will never repeat again. . Having roots it means ability to cut through your own delusions ...
i really agree with the argument, that a martial art needs to be holistic, including a culture of aging. i have seen (emergwtically, technically, mentally) very strong old asian tradition masters, i havent seen any old mma fighters past 40 continuing, or talking about their wear and tear injuries from their fighting career. im fortunate enough to go to a dojo with a 50+ year old jiu jitsu master whos internationally seeked out, to make my judgements and talk with him about treating injury, especially hip/leg tendons, neck injuries, and lower spine. we r all humans. martial arts that have been evolved in a 4000+year old culture like china or japan or java or india, have included wisdom for practice with aging and healthy longevity.
Grandmaster is a treasure to all of us. A true asset in the Martial Arts community. I'm happy for you that you get to train with him. Thank you for introducing him to me thru your content. Much Respect to you!
I like grandmaster words telling about responsibilities... Its very wise words... There is difference between being responisble for yourself and being responsible for many ... not everyone understands value of that.... So in every human life time will come for everyone when we need to use skills . But till that time come its important to keep learning... that is responsible way... understanding the word" responsibility. ." So when we talk about breaking legs and all that we need to realise that there is no need for human to impress .. empathy is far more important on this world.... The ability to see the whole spectrum... not just spectrum of your own self...
Wow, really enjoyed listening to this! GM Jiang Yu Shan's time competing - what an incredible story! And an amazing accomplishment to be proud of too :)
I trained with a gongfu brother that had developed golden bell skill. When I kicked his leg it was incredibly solid. My muscles in my calf burned so bad.
everyone is so interested in training the external structure(muscle) and they forgot the most important internal structure(Fascia) which is our natural shield and shock absorber.
The internal development of Kung Fu actually strengthens the whole body as well as the aura and etheric energy. People and attackers can sense it. They feel reluctant to attack you! Qigong and meditation are important components for developing internal energy/strength. It is a part of the famous iron--shirt qigong.
A weapon is only as effective as the people wielding it. Momentum handling is most important. I added western boxing momentum to my Wing Tsun and game over!
At the highest level of Kung Fu, is Fajing (explosive power). At that level, you need less than 2 inches of travel, to cause massive internal damages / D3th. Wing Chun teaches the Principles of how Internal punches operate... but very few WC people actually sharpen their abilities to Inch levels. That takes a whole other level of specialized work efforts. Since you lack proper Fajing... you Need more distance + momentum.
yeah thats sounds like bogus. its a fine line talking about special techniques and leaning out of the window tooooo much, sayin the body starts resonating like metal. hm very questionable. the rest about this conversation, and practically i agree with the concept of golden bell tho.
En el karate de Okinawa se ve el cuidado de la medicina interna y externa y los Maestros practican hasta edades avanzadas. El karate de Okinawa está más cerca de la herencia china, basta con leer el Bubishi para darse cuenta de este maravilloso arte.
Hello, thank you for another very interesting & super useful/helpful material! I would like to ask about the energy mentioned here in this video [starting at around 25:00 min.] - can you tell us more about it? Is it safe? Is it controllable? I suppose yes - if so, how can one control it? For example, if someone doesn't want other people to feel like that [the examples mentioned in the video]. Are there ways/methods to control one's energy [e.g. the type mentioned in the video]? Or is it just a matter of intention? Or maybe something else? How does it all work? Is it exclusively about the methods mentioned in the video? Or maybe it applies to any type of exercises that kinda raise one's power or Qi levels e.g. in the hands, like as if you kinda 'feel your hands more' type of a state - does it ring a bell? Is it connected to the mentioned energy and generally that topic? Is it somehow connected to the topic of the 'fire energy' and one should practice 'water energy' techniques to 'chill' and relax? Is it something normal/common after not only practicing advanced combat Qigong, but even basic strength exercises? I would appreciate anything really which would help me understand these aspects of the practice better, as it would help in this martial arts journey even more, and since currently I'm a walking definition of a beginner, that too would be super helpful! All the best to all the good ones out there & greetings from Poland :)
nice, a "real world" video. fights talk, experiences. good u include rightaway some examples of his grappling, floor techniques. so finally the mma interested might get something out of it too, rather then always bringing the same one argument ;) cheers
Master Jiang has heavily conditioned hands like the old Okinawan Karate masters. However, his hands are not deformed, gnarled or aggressive looking. He has very little calouses! I wonder how he conditions his hands?
Iron Fist methods are not that difficult. Wall mounted sandbags, Packed tightly with coarse grain beach sand (never use "play-sand", as its too fine, and makes a dust cloud, that can cause cancer, when breathed in). The use of a Traditional Chinese "Dit Da Jow" (herbal lineament), is important. A few drops before and after hitting the bag. Just massage it into the skin. A proper Jow (dont use the Synthetic Garbage, as it doesnt work at all)... will take any swelling you have... and remove it completely in less than 5 min flat. It not only prevents injuries.. but also heals the area 10x faster... and helps aid the creation of increased density + elasticity... as well as increases circulation in the applied area. Search for the video "Dit Da Jow proof". Ive not tried his Jow.. but the video reveals how well a good Jow works. Ive used Jows + sandbag work for several decades. My fists are like Iron.. but there is no deformation on the knuckles. The sand has just enough Give to conform to the shape of your knuckles. After that point, the sand becomes hard as a rock. And since the wall that the bag is hung from is not moving... that means that all of those impact forces will be bounced back into your own body / structure. It will create a different level of internal strength and density.. from you fist, down to your foot. If you have no solid wall to use... you can also place an Iron Fist canvas bag, on a heavy duty striking table. You could buy an existing one, or make one yourself. In the worst case of poverty and lack of materials.. one could lay the bag on top of a towel, that is placed on the Concrete ground (sidewalk / pavement)... and hit it from a sitting position. Do this at least every other day... and work your sessions up to a minimum of 1hr. (non stop / no rests) This is for the impact and conditioning. But its also good to have penetration depth strength... which can be developed by hitting a decent heavy bag. Both kinds of energy, are useful for striking / pushing.
Part 2: Noticed that you are a female. FYI - while your calouses will be reduced, there still will be some. These often go away when you stop training for a certain amount of time. That said.. once the internal density changes.. it tends to be very long lasting. (Years / Decades) Also, one should eat healthy, and add some Gummy Vitamins (better absorption than standard pills), and Almond Milk.. for higher levels of Calcium without the Fat content. If one does not have the proper diet, one does not heal, nor develop, properly. And finally.. Forgot to mention... that proper Deep Breathing is Very important. Inhale before, and exhale as one is striking. In through nose, Out through mouth. As deep of a breath as your lungs can take in. One could add in Yogic breathing exercises, to gain greater lung capacity, and lower Dan Tian control. (often found in books on "Breathing")
JIAN, (E = ma)/(area in cm/length x area in cm/width). The bone, where the contact patch is, is less than a whole inch is a multiplicative because the division produces a sum less than the whole. This is divided by the amount of time from the time of initial contact and transferred from energy in motion in a mass in motion and the energy from the motion in a mass either stationary or moving, if away from the counter strike the energy on contact will be reduced, the attacking recives the most damage they say, thus roughly .15 second after impact there is a relaxation during the transfer of energy to the object either being attacked or defended against. Its funny. How it works out. Science. 1500 year old chinese science.

Yeah, and when that fails you can always resort to throwing "magic beans" in order to summon a Unicorn on which you can ride away. 😂
