Big bad wolf was my favorite ride when I was younger and now I'm so sad that it's gone I actually cried when my brother told me they removed it 😭

I had no idea, "Big Bad Wolf" was no longer in operation. That coaster was Pure Joy to ride and had an amazing terrain.
transtremm it was my very first roller coaster ride since my childhood it was a blast i was forty when I rode that roller coaster back in 2004
It's been gone since 2009 I wish it was still there at Busch Gardens
Whenever I ride Appolos Chariot I don't put my thingy down enough so when we go over hills I fly up a little bit 😂 it makes it more fun

Great video! Busch Gardens Williamsburg is one of my home parks, the other being Kings Dominion. The coaster lineup is great! Also an error in the title, it should be Williamsburg.

Anyone who says big bad wolf is a better ride than verbolten is just being emotional and nostalgic and that's ok but let's be clear if your giving a stranger both rides they would clearly... clearly choose verbolten

I love the verbolten, its my favorite ride and so fun..i suggest to anyone going on that ride, that when you stop on the ride, put your head back and feet against the metal, that goes for anyride with feet restraints..the Appalachian, well oppss sorry

Yeah! I also compared it to flights of fear because they’ve both dark. I also like tempeso and the Loch Ness monster. I think comparing all of them turn into one big ride

Very fun video to watch guys! I came down from New York over spring break to come to this park and I loved it. Very charming and some very good coasters too! Favorite ride was Griffon, hands down. I'm going back down again next week, can't wait.

This is very helpful because I live near Williamsburg and I'm going there Saturday with my friend and we are going to ride all the rides so this makes things a little better but harder at the same time

When I recently went to Busch for my cousins birthday we got tuck on Apollos for around 30 minutes! It was very hot and we got very dehydrated, luckily they had water waiting when the ride was fixed
I literally live like 5 minutes away from Busch gardens and I actually just went yesterday and rode all of the roller coasters for the first time I actually used to be scared of roller coasters until my friends forced me to ride them now I love them and my favorites are apollo's chariot and griffin
I used to be scared of them because I hated that feeling you get in your stomach but now I don't really get that feeling any more
I love Busch Gardens both Williamsburg and Tampa. They are some of the best theme parks outside of Disney and Universal. Every since I moved from Southern California to Northern Virginia, I feel lucky to be so close to such a word class park. Now for my creative criticism...Loch Ness needs new trains, Alpengiest also is in need of new trains with a big boy seat on each row like Griffon and a possible overall re-hulking of the whole coaster. Dark Kastle is need of a serious upgrade; from the que, to the preshow area, ride vehicles, and total story. Does anyone know why Busch doesn't use mist or fog elements on their rides? Examples mist or fog on the tunnels of Alpengist, Invadr, or the exit farther the drop segment on Verboltan; I can also see the same elements with fire on Apollo's Chariot. And yes we just got Invadr, what type coaster do think BGW should get next?

Lol i went on Tempesto 2 days ago for the first time... Awesome ride but it broke down right as we were about to get on and it was the only ride that we hadn't done that day :( Luckily it was back up and running within 30 minutes
Just Povs of the coasters themselves as separate videos would've been cool too! But this is great nonetheless

This is now our home park as we moved to Va Beach this spring. We are pass holders. I totally agree that BBW should have never been taken out. Verbolten could have easily gone where Drachen Fire was (that's another ride that I miss). Don't be so hard on Nessie!! She's old, sure, but it's still a really fun ride. My 10 year old daughter (who has ridden everything there) ranks it as her favorite. I would not go that far, but I still really enjoy it. Love the videos and love the podcast!

+Beesweet I heard the new restraints aren't even good like u can't move a lot and plus alpengeists trains are pretty unique cause the design is hand painted for each train when it came put
Rct3_maniac Banshee's restraints aren't bad at all, but I heard that the Wingrider restraints are pretty restrictive.

My first ride on big bad wolf was awesome and I also remember that you didn't sit in those cars I remember that your feet hung so it was more like a swing it was the best roller coaster at Busch Gardens

If you want to ride a very intense roller coaster, come to the uk and ride The Smiler at Alton Towers it is brilliant.
I dont know if they fixed it or im just older. but i used to hate Alpenghiest, was really rough, but rode it last year and it was a different coaster and loved it.

As a frequent Disney World visitor.... Busch Gardens is pretty damn amazing, great coasters, better than Hollywood Studios/Epcot/Animal Kingdom theme, and good food. However, the experience of the Magic Kingdom BLOWS AWAY any other park (including this one, and I am a coaster fan).

Yeah magic kingdom is really great. But it's so damn crowded all the time and that really takes away a lot from the overall experience.

I rode Verbolten and then the shut it down. So I was the last on to ride
I got on this with my aunt my two brother got on the cart before us but I opened my eyes twice on griffin

if alpengeist is your favourite inverted coaster you should ride nemesis at alton towers it is one of the most intense roller coasters in the world

I when a couple days ago and my favorite ride is the griffon then alpengist also then verboten then the purple roller coaster next the temp what ever and my last one is the Elmo one.
That roller coaster is great for helexis
There isn't much to Verbolten other than the show building and drop. The rest is slow meandering around and total "ride" time is very short. Big Bad Wolf was much better.
So 5% of the ride.
I personally enjoy the thrill of the room being dark and not being able to see ahead.

Really? Last time I rode it, I remember even inside the building it went pretty insanely fast. Also didn't know it went inside or about the drop when i rode it, I'd say it's about on par maybe with the big bag wold though.
