Thanks! If you hold "block" in Prime Mode it automatically parries all physical attacks (Cloud still gets damage as if he is blocking). This + counterfire for magic and ranged attacks makes Cloud a powerhouse.
@@kevinburke1325 What fire? Cloud's "counterfire" ability allows you to parry all magic, ranged, AoE attacks (like spells, stomps, breaths, missiles, ...). When you hold "block" you'll see a menu on the left with "synergy skills". You do counterfire by pressing X or O.

First time following the guide and got to Odin. But I played it to safe and then he murdered us both with his limit break. I was close though, but not close enough.

I'm not very good with counter fire I could practice in the simulator against the full might with Barrett right? Thanks for the guide I will try my best Lightning seems to be the most used by the world record holders in these challenges is there a specific reason for that? It seems like when they use it it hits faster and heavier than wind and fire although that could just be my imagination

Once I can reliably rip Bahamut a new one then I can easily use the hidden mechanic on Odin (boredom/excitement) after I practice him if I need to. If I can get really good with seph Zenshin and the triangle version I will breeze thru, but I'm more likely to be casting magic on wings for some reason the camera is all wonky and to be fair on playing on a regular size monitor and not a big TV maybe on the big TV would be better

Amazing how legit one cycle everyone, didn’t even know Odin and bahamut were possible within one stagger
beat this on my very first try using this build, thanks a ton, now i just need to finish the story on hard mode for the platinum
