She was always at mums pub the Tally Ho Kentish Town and at my dad's The Kensington Russell Gardens... I was so lucky to grow up around all the jazzers I met sachmo too he gave me a trumpet 🎺 🥰
When Selina performed at my parents Jazz Pub mum was ill with whooping cough and my dad asked her please can you change my daughters nappy 😅 was awesome growing up surrounded by jazzers 🥰

I had the privilege of seeing her in Wigan a couple of years ago. What an inspirational artist she is! She still looks and sounds fabulous.

She's so wonderful. She began in the U.S. as Joan Shaw before finding success in London and Japan. I wish she had performed more often back here.

She was on British television often in the seventies. A wonderful artist and still looking and sounding beautiful.
