- Human drama in the dog park. One owners dog was being a bit too aggressive with other pups, owner was not addressing the issue with his dog, another owner took him to task and things went sideways from there.

the answer is... Shock Collars! Not for the dogs. For their owners- 🤣
Funny thing is... dude has a doberman... big fierce protection breed... and it gives absolutely no fecks about the owner getting pushed about and being on the ground lol. Sign of a good relationship right there.
😂
yer right his dobie didnt even come to protect him but the red guy's dog asked grey guy if he is ok=go figure.
Maybe if it was more life threatening like the guy on top of him punching him or strangling him, then the done would’ve came 😂.
If you don't teach your dog to defend, it won't do either, which doesn't mean that the owner and the dog have a bad relationship. My dog wouldn't protect me either, and why? because I never taught him to behave like that. He would think it was part of the fun and start running around in circles. It's like having a dog because it's a dog and a family friend, not because you see it as a potential protection or weapon
Well, he hits his dog so...that's probably why.
My dog is well-trained off and on leash. I would never bring my boy to a dog park. It’s other owners lack of responsibility I don’t trust
Same here. Lucky for me I have enough land to bring dogs to mine if my dog approves of them.
Same I call dog park fight clubs 😂 will do training outside great for distractions but even that can be Ricky sometimes
Ppl have no common sense. I have seen them stand there and watch while their dog attacks another one.
Don’t let your anxiety make your dog suffer from lack of meeting dogs, they are only humans.
Same here but I'll take my pup to certain parks where I know the people and dogs. I avoid others for the same reason.
Respect to the guy in the white sweatshirt and white cap for not just standing there and allowing things to escalate.
likely a retired policeman.
@@leanercleaner698 most likely not. Probably just a good person. Retired cops are usually intolerable and horrible to others.
Not based on my own personal experience but a general consensus
what a stupid statement.
I say mind your own business, you ever been on the wrong side of retaliation. He follows you home, you have no idea who he is, and the terror starts. Live your life like that. All because you jumped in to stop the escalation. Just to have it escalate on you. Mind your own business. Let him fight his own fight. He never needed your help
bro i hate how they didnt let it escalate into a fist fight
i love the fact that some of the dogs are just looking at these two people (one's causing the drama). I wonder if the dogs are thinking "these humans so uncivilized, we can't even have a nice play at the park"😁
That guy with the light-colored zip-up that broke up the fight, you can tell whose dog is his. That dog is looking at him nonstop for direction. You can tell his dog is really well-behaved.
I used to run a private dog park. The biggest problem with public dog parks is that there is no one with the power to kick out bad dogs and owners. You get what you pay for.
That's great I love to have something like that out here my dog loves other dogs ( husky GSD mix & pocket bully )they have training as well wish there was a safe place to socialize them more
Well I just got off the phone with parcs and rec. Ppl pay taxes to be able to enjoy the city they live in. We discussed increasing park ranger presence at the dog park that is a real issue.
Owners are idiots too, bec they baby their dogs and don't discipline them. They also stand there watching while their dog attacks another one. Makes no damn sense. They will get a clue when they get sued in civil court for medical bills.
@@tranquility9325 and that’s what needs to happen. Problem can be with getting the owners information though!
Shut the hell up
It's not a bad idea to carry mace at a dog park. When all wlse fails, a can of mace will break up a dog fight, even if you have to mace your own dog. That's better than vet bills, and mace is a fairly good self defense against human animals as well.
Grown men laughing at the situation like kids in a playground
emotionally.. they didn't get beyond age 8.
It sounded like that guy that got knocked down is a troublemaker anyway. What kind of idiot stands in a dog park with hands in his pockets and when a group of large dogs come running doesn’t move. There are nothing but big dogs in there. They play hard. I would bet most of them have been cooped up all day and are ready for some serious play and exercise.
Many times it is the owners that are the problem. I used to have dog daycare at my house. Usual day was 2 Dobermans,2 labs a golden and a miniature schnauzer and sometimes 2 West Highland terriers. Only fights or even anything close to a minor problem were between the 2 Westies . They were sisters, littermates. Never saw such vicious fighting between two dogs before those two. But they got along great with everyone else. Must have been a real fun time at home with them. Even when they would come in after playing they all picked a bed or cot a lay down . Hardly knew they were there. They always minded fairly well. Some more than others. But when they were picked up they didn’t seem to want to do what their owners wanted.
5:17 This bit highlights one of the most frustrating parts of being a Shiba Inu owner. Shibas will absolutely let other dogs know when they are being too rough or getting too close, regardless of their size, but due to their vocalizations and defensive actions, THE SHIBA is the one that gets blamed.
I’m glad to see experienced dog owners understand that the dobie was the aggressor and the owner is the problem.
While I agree with the circumstances here I will say Shiba's are not dog park dogs. Almost every time I have seen one in a dog park setting they are aggressive with other dogs. JMHO
There’s a guy who takes one to my park and I leave if he’s there. He NEVER watches his dog. That dog is very aggressive and goes after the young /little ones. I think the dog picks up on my energy now and doesn’t come near me but I don’t get it!!! I think the guy is there more for himself to socialize than for the dog!
@@Deelitee bear spray the aggressive dog.
@@dojo1249 good idea. What if it gets in my eyes or others near by???
Dolly is a great pup, she is a regular, my two huskies love playing rough with her and vice versa. This is the first time I have seen her upset with another dog, and with good cause.
It's not if the dogs fight, it's when. The number one reason why I don't take my dog to the dog park.
Yup!
Diseases is the main reason I don't take any of my dogs to a dog park and the other is poor/irresponsible dog owners that are responsible for their poorly mannered dog(s).
you have to be an idiot to take your dog to a dog park.

I think Mr. Gray Hoodie needs a harness, so he can be pulled back, if he's aggressive.
Yeah, like what is that? This kind of stuff blows my mind. No harness or collar on an unsocialized and aggressive Doberman.

I'm guessing the reason he didn't leave after being tossed around the first time is because his dog doesn't come when called and he couldn't catch it to leash it back up. So rather than be embarrassed by his dog, he just chose to embarrass himself.
Favorite part was when the one outside was yelling at the two unstable guys inisde the park "y'all are adults! I'm a kid!" 🤣 Like fr immaturity has no age limit there was no need for any of that. Kudos to the one getting in between to deescalate the nonsense. The dogs had to pause their playtime looking around confused like "hm, I guess these dogs' humans didn't go through training 🤔"
That was a hoot, no adulting going on here.

It is a great park, and in 6 years going there every day, this is the first human drama I have seen.
It's very pretty
@@dzonevideo5785 where is it??
Some of the rudest people I've ever met were dog owners not caring how their pet affects everyone else. We have customers bringing their pets into our store where they don't legally belong while the dog craps, urinates, barks and causes our allergies to flare. Yet somehow the employees are the jerks for not appreciating this nonsense.
Look the issue this. Many people who own dog’s think they own small humans on 4 leg’s with a tail. They treat there dog’s totally wrong and think it’s funny. But not ALL dog owners are like this. Some of us know we own Dog’s and treat them as such. Now the ones who think there dog’s are humans will react to critique towards there pet’s as if you would criticize his own flesh and blood. They will react pissed and say foul stuff.
Plus society does not always love dog’s, dog owners have to hear much crap over time and get defensive.
because dogs have to have rights that you don't. They have to live in a world that isn't their own. They wouldn't choose to be here, if they weren't enslaved. So grow up, open your mind, do some research into your society, and sh*t up about it until you got something with which to change the situation.
Dogs do not belong in stores unless it is a pet store. And even then a lot of them that are undisciplined should stay home . The only dogs that should be allowed in stores and other establishments are service dogs. Not emotional support dogs. They don’t have the extensive training that service dogs do. Service dogs are not going to poop and pee in the store. Too many people take advantage and bring their dog or other support pet to store.
@@gabesmom5615 Thank you! Agreed.

As for the guy who you have seen hit and kick his dog you should report him because you have to think if he does that in public how does he treat the dog when he is at home.
Probably worse. I missed that. Which one was it. Probably why the dog didn’t want to listen to them. Actually they all were pretty well behaved considering the amount of big dogs .
.... meanwhile. The dogs are running around having a good time.

If you can't be bothered to train your dog properly, don't get one. The doberman is a loose canon and the man in grey has no idea how to manage him. The doberman could be a well mannered dog, but it's not going to happen without effort given that he's already showing unnecessary dominance and anti social behaviour.
the awkward silence and kicking of the grass after the physical altercation is killing me LMFAOO
Perfect example of people influencing their dog’s behavior. Dumb human equals bad behavior in dog
My dog loves to socialise, but I am so scared of an interaction going wrong and changing her forever. Wish there were groups where you could organise dog meetups where everyone had to fill out a form of what training their dog has been through and what their dogs triggers are.
Let the dogs handle it.
Your not doing your dog any favors by not letting them live the life a dog is supposed to. You need to get over your fear or your dog will be socially awkward and anxious. Guy above me is right. Dogs will handle it and if your dog is not dominant you will have no issues. I go to dog park every single day for last 2 years.
Absolutely just go. My pup (6 mth old kelpie, working parents and gets worked) can be a bit excited around other dogs and some let her know she is being annoying. Not once has she shut down or gone shy from being corrected by a dog. And she has slowly tamed the behaviour. Win win. Just gotta be able to pick up on the body language cues of dogs, and notice if one's actually being aggressive vs telling your/a dog to calm down and stop what they're doing. Normalise correcting people dogs if they won't do it also, stuff what they think
@@elliot5008 you can start small with taking your dog to outdoor restaurants, Home Depot… then to a regular park keeping on leash then small visits to the dog park. I’m also getting a leather studded collar for my dog just to be safe. Lol
There are a few places that will do play assessments and organize play groups with dogs that have similar play styles. I know there is a Zoom Room near me, I think there are other locations around the US, and while I haven’t had the chance to go yet, it seems a lot safer than a dog park if you’re nervous! They also ask everyone for vaccination records and ofc, there’s the mandatory play assessment before going into a playroom with other dogs!

Dog parks, private and public? A strange concept. These people all look like prison inmates walking the yard except with dogs. Funny thing happens to humans in confined spaces, they turn on each other. The dogs were fine and the sane ones.

The dogs are like we cant take out humans anywhere without them starting crap

Good for you for being responsible. Most people would just bring them anyway. Small dogs are aggressive most of the time. So I m not surprised yours don’t like them.
Guy got shot at my dog park for not controlling his dog. They got his dog and he got hit in the neck. The dogs ended up eating the guy alive. And guess what, the cops showed up and spent 45 minutes in their cars while the guy was bleeding out. Well, let me tell you what. A couple years ago, my dog was a puppy and I brought him to this same dog park and well guess what happens? The dog park owner comes out telling me I can’t be here because my dog is aggressive! Let me let you, I ain’t never seen that kind of shi before! I ain’t even do nothing! Well, let me tell you one time my dog attacked another dog and the owner get all angry. Let me tell you
I don't take my dogs to dog parks. I've seen to many serious injuries and big problems. People bring aggressive dogs, and don't care. Plus, there are other issues as well.

i didnt realise american dog parks are so gangsta
Oh- you wait until the pits show up!!! It’s a whole new ball game. 😬
Lol all these guys in the video are fruit cups
OR, instead of shoving the guy, maybe give some pointers that helped train his dog, so his dog don't be a pain.
There is always someone who has to ruin everyone else's day! The misery they have, they have to push on happy people!
Really need to raise the awareness in dog parks! I have a 90 pound Golden Retriever who just wants to play ball and he was harassed by a dog whose owner thought they were just playing. Her dog was starting from about 10 or 15 yards away and ramming my dog and she let her dog do this for about 5 minutes before I told her she can’t let her dog harass mine. She took offense and that’s the last time we’ve been to a dog park!
I just grab dogs firmly by the collar, sternly put them into a sit and wait for them to relax. I don't give a shit if it's someone else's dog, if they won't control the situation then I will
I remove my dog. And /or I barricade her. I tell the other dog NO very loudly.
@nick white that’s great if the stupid owner has actually taught those commands to their dog. Those type usually only do the basics which doesn’t always mean it’s ready to be out in public.

He immediately is targeted, he is very confident n friendly
Not dominant, but other dogs react, owners seeing he is intact n his size n energy levels, big both of them, n they begin to stress.
There is no need to, he listens to me, n despite being ,clear, my free word, he instantly returns or drops on command.
But i have tried it 3 times and found a small clique who believed they ran the park n ran their own rules.
I had one lady abuse me prior to any greeting because she believed it was wring of me to bring my ,pitbull intact make, to fight other dogs n possibly kill or main.
He is a pedigree English Staffordshire Terrier, his dad n male side r all overlarge and were show dogs..
I just feel safer exercising him n socialising him away from dumbos.
I have an intact mini aussiedoodle and he is also ganged up on. I will never bring him again.
Ngl I hate some old people having dogs because they still think hitting or “spanking” their dog is an effective form of “punishment” for anything their dog does
I took my staffie to a dog park once. Her body language indicated that she was leery of the other dogs so she just sat by me and watched them, and I watched how the owners were acting. Needless to say we were not impressed so we left and never went back. BTW, what are the squares of gravel for?
Whenever i feel like i want my fill of reality tv in reality...i just post up at the picnic table at the dog park. Never fails theres always some "big shot" that has to damper the day for the rest.

What dog trainers are against them?
Nice to see more dog parents are using harnesses and not the stab collars.
Are you referring to prong collars? They don't stab, they are one of the safest training collars there are. Harnesses are great once the dog is leash trained but can cause serious damage to a dog's forelegs and chest if they are pullers.
@@Krebstar100 they stab, just watch when a dog that’s wearing one shakes his head constantly, why b/c it’s hurting them. @Mari Schwab prongs don't stab, they apply even pressure on the neck giving a pinch and protecting the trachea. Victoria Stilwell doesn't understand any of the tools that she criticizes, and lies about them to promote her own brand. @Mari Schwab they are banned due to ignorant people like you. I have put a prong collar on my neck and allowed someone to give me a correction. It just applies even pressure to the neck. The prong collar was invented by a veterinarian to prevent trachea damage. You should really learn about tools before making snap judgments about them. A balanced approach of reinforcement and punishment is the best approach to training dogs. Even Victoria Stillwell uses punishment. How is he the crazy one? Red sweater pushed him to the ground twice.
@A J Did you watch the video & listen to the dialog? A. Grey is talking nonsensically & behaving irrationally. Not typical behavior for a sane or sober person. B. Red tried to stay away from him, but Grey kept making threats & approaching red aggressively, which is exactly why Grey got shoved to the ground TWICE. Red warned Grey multiple times to get away from him. Red could have easily ground & pounded him yet restrained himself, choosing to only shove Grey to get him away from him. C. Normal sane person would have walked away after getting his butt handed to him the 1st time. D. The other guy white shirt has to intervene multiple times, using a basic de-escalation tactic, talking the crazy person down because Grey keeps causing problems & going at the Red. E. Grey doesn't comprehend it's him & his dog that were causing issues, so it was time to leave well before any of this went down. Nobody wanted his crazy butt or his untrained, unsocialized dog there. A normal sane person would have left if their dog wasn't acting right. Heck, a sane person wouldn't have brought an illbehaved dog into the park to begin with.
This was great entertainment! 😅
I would never take my dogs to a dog park. Too many untrained, unsocialized animals…. 4 and 2 legged
Dog parks are drama, cause some owners don't know how to handle their pets. I have two Rottweilers as I was leaving this guy picked up his dog and made a smart comment about the breed as his dog was barking and trying to fight my boys, I said yeah Rottweiler are so mean told my boys to leave it no barking or growling from my dogs...
This is exactly the problem. Morons bring their untrained dogs to the park and don't even monitor them because they are too lazy, then when their dog attacks a Rottweiler, or Pitbull, etc and the dog defends themselves, the owner blames the other dog.
What was the problem? I didn't really hear what they were saying and the dogs aren't doing anything wrong.
Old man in the gray hoodie dog was getting a little bit to obnoxious. The man in red told him to get control of his dog. Then the man in the gray hoodie was getting way to up close and personal. That's why man in red pushed him and yelled don't keep advancing on me and getting in my face.
The black Doberman with no collar or harness on belongs to the man in the gray hoodie.
Apologies to the more chronologically advanced readers. But a guy pushing 75-80 with mobility issues has no business trying to train a working/protection dog as powerful as that. The guy is ill-equipped to rein in his dog and it is obvious by its lack of manners that he doesn't respect the guy or the guy hasn't bothered with any training. With either answer, that dog shouldn't be at the dog park.
This is the second video from this dog park. These are supposed to be grown men. You couldn't pay me to go into this place.

Where is this park?? If this happened where I live, the rest of the general clients would not just be standing by watching. They all would be telling that jerk to take his Doberman and leave. He would have no choice but to leave. At our local park, you get one incident and you are out! It’s a very harmonious park because of people caring about each others dogs and rules. We all police each others- you have to!
That’s how we are at our neighborhood dog park. I’ve kicked a guy out before for similar tomfoolery. No, it’s not everyone else’s dogs that are the problem, it’s you and your ticking time bomb with aggression issues 🙄
But how??? How can you make someone leave and then not come back??
@@Deelitee our dog park is managed by our county park system and “policed” by park rangers. They take the complaints, can write citations such as vicious dog tickets that can require court appearances. They can ban you from the park and any dog that does not meet the requirements.
@@dogmom7698 love it!
Someone tells their dog to "destroy" my dog, I'm destroying their dog. That's how that's happening.
Th Navajo people have a saying: “Do not fight about dogs.”
The older man should not have been advancing on the younger man but the younger man was totally wrong to push him to the ground. If he has a problem with how the dog behaves, then you can speak reasonably to the Owner you don’t need to get aggressive.
It doesn’t look like you can speak reasonably to that man. How does someone of that age have a dog like that?? That’s just ridiculous!
A large breed ( doesn’t matter the breed) needs to be under the owners control at all times. In a situation like a dog park or any other off leash situation that owner needs to know that the dog will obey without hesitation. If they don’t they shouldn’t be out off leash. But unfortunately that takes a little more training and patience and follow through and not many people want to bother.
“ I would never bring my dog to a dog park.”
Let’s be fr 🗿🤚
dog park is the worst place. Most people have no control of their dogs. Your dog will learn bad behavior
He needs to correct his dobie. I remember seeing him from your other videos too. Seems like there's no progress. He doesn't need to leave. Someone needs to help him with his dog. A doberman's energy is too much for a guy his age.
