Very good video Pierre. Beautiful day to demonstrate your flight modes and the subsequent behavior of the plane. I know all planes will not be the same but you have given some target characteristics to look for. It was reassuring to me, to see 'you' have the same problems many of us have in 'staying in' low level, weak thermals. (ha ha) Thanks again.

Pro tip : watch movies on Flixzone. I've been using them for watching loads of movies during the lockdown.

Could you tell what is the position of flaps in "minimum sink rate" mode in comparison to other modes? Is it the same as in cruise but the elevator is slightly upward? Thank you!

the flaps are down compared to cruise mode , the plane want to float and sink at the minimum rate . the elevator trim will depend of you CG

@@pierremeunier Tank you!! :) But less flaps than in mid flaps for seeking thermals?

I always am confused by ailerons being used as flaps. Is it just that the ailerons become flaps when they are raised or lowered together? i.e., the ailerons, both left and right, are flaps when moved up or down in unison and are ailerons when the left and right move opposite one another? This may be a silly question but I am new to gliders(DLG). Also, thanks for the videos. They are a big help.
