Not really… only a dozen or so actually “different” instruments. Percussion arguably doesn’t count, variations of the same instrument are easier to learn once you learn the first instrument. I count 15 different methods of producing sound, not including the otamatone or any of the percussion. Here's the list: flute method (I couldn't find a better name), single reed (see below), upright string, piano, harp, guitar, neck string, brass (see below again), recorder/air method, double bass, accordion, native flute (? idk I've never heard of it so I counted it outside of the flute group), double reed, mallets, 1/2 size cello thing. Maybe category: autocharp??, kalimba?? I grouped the single reeds as one as if you have the single reed embouchure down, you just need to tweak it al little to play the other instruments of its category. I don't play a single reed anymore, but one of my good friends in band plays clarinet and picked up bass clarinet pretty quickly. I did the same with brass due to the same reason. I once again don't play brass, or at least multiple brass instruments, but it seems that you can pick up others easy if you know one, unless you are going from like piccolo trumpet to like tuba. Idk what a native flute is or if its like a flute in any way so I was lenient on that. Also I did count the different ways of holding a string instrument and playing them in different categories. Mallets arguably don't count along with the autocharp and kalimba. You could also not count harp or piano. Or even if you were more strict, not count like recorder or accordion or guitar. @@CSmyth- Because they actually are different?
Lmfao they are
@@joejoe5081 So you're telling me that, because I can play flute, I can claim "I can play 1million different instruments!" just because there's 1million different flutes that exist? Obviously not an exact figure or anything, just sake of argument.
@@CSmyth- because they're different types of flute?
i'm not just impressed by the range of instruments, but that he can play every single one with confidence.
There is some incredible fucking talent and an incredible collection on display at once here. Looking forward to your future works, Thomas related or not!
Let’s appreciate the fact that Luke can actually play these instruments, you’ve got talent
This sounds SO NICE.
The lick but it’s a ✨lick ensemble✨
I've watched this every day for weeks, and I never get sick of it! Also, 91 instruments?! Thats a lot of talent!

I love the bass sm if that's the instrument you were talking bout, especially as a bass player haha
@@Bun_Bun51 haha. I was referring to the double bass being very quiet during that part.
@@Bun_Bun51 it is a lovely instrument regardless :))
@@guywitcurlyhair Ah touchee- It's a good instrument and your def. right!
@@Bun_Bun51I had no idea what you were talking about but if you have bad headphones that are just all mids im sure it would be tricky to hear it 🤣
The contrabass clarinet got me lol. Sorry I didn't make it to the premier, was working the nightshift.

i listen to this video at LEAST a few times a week bc this arrangement is fantastic (and i'm jealous of ur collection) and there's many parts of it that i find charming as hell but i luv the bass guitar section the most, i started learning how to play it earlier this yr and i absolutely hav to learn that part bc u sound lovely 🙏🙏🙏
Glad you enjoy it 😄 good luck with the bass!
@@InstrumentManiac thank you so much!!
"Which instrument do you play?"
"Yes."
i love how the cb clarinet just comes out of nowhere, i pranked all my friends and they all got scared
The contrabass clarinet actually caught me off guard. 🤣

This man’s skill to be able to play 91 instruments and at such a young age anyways!
The most HOTTEST thing to do when playing insturments
Thank you so much Luke! That was awesome! I read all the names of the instruments you played out loud.
I think this should be on Spotify :)
Should be up in a day or 2!
You won me over with the chimes! Totally my style. 😂😂😂
Man! You are a awesome instrumentist 8D!
